As a long-time fan of the Asphalt series, I can’t contain my excitement for the upcoming Legends Unite update for Asphalt 9. After following the recent developments and watching the showcase video, I’m blown away by the significant improvements this update brings to the table.

On July 17, 2024, the long-awaited update for Asphalt 9: Legends Unite by Gameloft is scheduled to be released. This exciting upgrade introduces a state-of-the-art game engine, resulting in stunning visuals with enhanced lighting effects and high-definition textures. Here’s a rundown of the thrilling new features that are about to revolutionize your racing experience.

Instead of writing “I thought of doing this as a comparison article, but listing out the new features is somewhat the same,” you could say “Comparing the two would be an option, but the number of new features is impressive and makes this update significant.”

1. Updated UI and UX

Based on our plans, the game now features a revamped User Interface and User Experience. The color scheme aligns with our logo’s purple tones, complemented by vibrant green and yellow buttons. Clear and fashionable new fonts have been incorporated as well for improved readability.

2. New Garage System

Many, including myself, anticipated this outcome due to the outdated garage from Legends. This state-of-the-art garage, modeled after luxurious car garages, showcases cars effectively through innovative new camera angles and perspectives.

3. Game Engine Upgrade

An major enhancement is the upgraded game engine. It primarily caters to newer gadgets, delivering better graphics and faster operation. Although older devices are no longer supported to maximize the engine’s potential, all previous tracks have been revamped with new lighting and textures for a visually uniform upgrade throughout the game.

4. Dynamic Lights and Reflections

The game’s upgraded engine introduces features such as dynamic lighting and real-time reflections. This enhancement is evident in the graphics of the cars and tracks. In the debut season of Unite, a star-studded collection of vehicles graces the racetrack: Bugatti, Ferrari, Porsche, and Koenigsegg. Moreover, part three of the Formula E event grants access to new cars for beginners and an opportunity to gold existing ones for seasoned players.
