Apex Season 22 Patch Notes: all changes
As a seasoned Apex Legends player with countless hours under my belt, I must say that the latest weapon changes have certainly shaken things up. The reduction in magazine size for the Flatline and P2020 (Single) has made me go back to the drawing board when it comes to my loadout.
Here are the Apex Season 22 Patch Notes.
As a long-time fan of battle royale games, I eagerly anticipate the arrival of Apex Legends Season 22. With my years of gaming experience under my belt, I can appreciate the effort put into creating detailed patch notes that outline all the changes coming to the game. I find it helpful and exciting knowing what’s new, and it allows me to prepare for any shifts in strategy or mechanics when the season drops. It’s always fascinating to see how developers evolve their games over time, adding fresh content to keep players engaged and entertained.
Apex Season 22 details:
- New map, E-District.
- Aim Assist getting nerfed in Apex Season 22.
- New Apex Bot Royale mode.
- Apex Season 22 release countdown.
- Akimbo weapons coming to Apex Legends.
Apex Season 22 Patch Notes
New Map: E-District
In Apex Legends, a fresh map called E-District will debut, marking the first since 2022. This intense, urban battlefield is modeled after densely populated cityscapes, specifically drawing inspiration from countries like Japan. The Points of Interest (POIs) on this map have been designed based on longstanding speculation within Apex Legends. The introduction of E-District is set to bring a significant change to the Apex Games.
Just like before, a fresh map arrives with novel additions. The innovative addition in E-District is the ‘Gravity Launcher’, functioning much like miniature Gravity Cannons, offering an exciting new method for traversing the map or accessing elevated locations.
1. This map is packed with details, perfect for those who love lore. Developers encourage you to take a break from the action and explore, as they say, “If you have a moment between gunfire, we kindly ask that you take some time to look around.”
Apex Season 22 Patch Notes: Aim Assist Changes
In the latest update for Season 22 of “The Apex”, the way aim assist works has been modified, but this alteration is exclusive to players using controllers on PC. Lobbies on consoles remain unaltered and continue as usual.
The reduction will be about 25%. Devs hope this will help balance the playing field.
New revival mechanic
In Season 22, we’re introducing a fresh Resurrection system for standard games. If a player gets eliminated, they’ll have a respawn countdown. As long as a teammate is still in the game, once the timer runs out, that player will come back to life close to their team.
As a seasoned adventurer with years of battling monsters under my belt, I can confidently say that knowing how to shorten the timer for regaining full strength is crucial. In my numerous escapades, I’ve learned that taking down foes quickly and dealing damage effectively not only makes battles more efficient but also minimizes the time spent waiting to regenerate. This valuable knowledge has saved me countless times in dire situations and allowed me to press on in my quests, always ready for the next challenge.
In the last few seconds of a game, this function deactivates, amplifying the urgency and excitement of the closing stages. The designers aim to motivate players to play boldly, seize opportunities, and potentially turn the tide even at the eleventh hour.
Battle Sense
Enhanced Combat Awareness, initially introduced in Solos, is now being expanded across the whole game. Here’s what you can expect:
Better Ammo Awareness & Feedback
- Critical Ammo state will now kick on when a player has 0 relevant ammo in their inventory
- On screen Low Ammo indicators kick on earlier allowing players more opportunity to find ammo
- Indicator also now displays the icon of the ammo type
- Pinging for ammo will now display the ammo icon in the kill feed
- When emptying a weapon of all reserve ammo it will now automatically ping that the player is in need of ammo
- When looking at ammo on the ground the tooltip now displays compatibility with any of your currently equipped weapons
Enemy Health Bars
Now, when causing harm to an opponent, the game displays the opponent’s current Armor and Health status for a short while. This Health Meter vanishes shortly after damage is inflicted. To see this Health Meter, you need to have a clear view of your enemy, similar to the Enemy Highlight feature.
Enemy Highlight
Adversaries will now stand out with a bold red border, much like allies who have a clear blue one. The visibility is strongest when they’re nearby and becomes less distinct as they move further off. For you to see them, there must be an unobstructed view (good news for Bangalore players).
Both Enemy Health Bars and Enemy Highlights can be toggled on/off in Settings.
Bin Refreshes
In the Updates for Apex Season 22, Loot Containers are also receiving an adjustment. During the course of the game, these containers will undergo a refresh and seal shut, offering you another opportunity to scavenge for loot at a Point of Interest.
In addition, you’ll encounter two distinct Loot Bins: a Gold Loot Bin and a Mythic Loot Bin. The Gold Loot Bin produces scarce items, while the Mythic Loot Bin appears only once in each game. Its location is highlighted on the map for all players to see. The grand prizes are reserved for the team that snatches it first.
