I’m a huge fan of Anton from Zenless Zone Zero, and let me tell you, this guy is a force to be reckoned with! As an elite Assault Agent, I specialize in dishing out electric anomaly damage. My role on the team is crucial – I serve as the primary electric Damage Per Second (DPS) member, dealing some serious blows. When the situation gets tough, I can activate my burst mode, amplifying my damage output and acting as a solid anchor for my team.

Overview

Anton, belonging to Belobog Industries, is featured on the regular banner as an electric damage dealer for our team. He excels in being the primary Damage Per Second (DPS) member, capable of alternating between inflicting both physical and electric harm. His fundamental skill amplifies his talent for dealing technical damage, while his extra ability boosts the electrical shocks he imposes on enemies, making Anton a valuable addition to an electric team.

W-Engines

A – Drill Rig – Red Axis

⭐ Energy Regen

• When launching an EX Special Attack or Chain Attack, Electric DMG from Basic Attacks and Dash Attacks increases by 50/57.5/65/72.5/80% for 10s. This effect can trigger once every 15s.
• As Anton’s Signature W-Engine, it fits perfectly with his kit, as after entering burst mode, all of Anton’s Basic Attacks deal electric damage, and with the energy regen main stat, he will be able to stay in burst mode more often.

S – The Brimstone

⭐ Attack

• Upon hitting an enemy with a Basic Attack, Dash Attack, or Dodge Counter, the equipper’s ATK increases by 3.5/4.4/5.2/6/7% for 8s, stacking up to 8 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
• In Burst Mode, Anton is able to attack constantly with his basic attack, meaning it will be very easy to get the maximum amount of stacks from this W-Engine

A – Cannon Rotor

⭐ Crit Rate

• Increases ATK by 7.5/8.6/9.7/10.8/12%. Attacks that land a CRIT on an enemy will inflict an additional 200% of ATK as DMG. This effect can only be triggered once every 8/7.5/7/6.5/6s.
• In addition to granting a nice attack increase upon dealing a critical hit, what makes this W-Engine special for pretty much all main DPS is the crit rate main stat, and with Anton already having his crit rate increased upon levelling up, this makes it even easier to get a high crit rate so that you can focus on other stats for Disc Drives.

A – Starlight Engine

⭐ ATK

• Launching a Dodge Counter or Quick Assist increases the equipper’s ATK by 12/13.8/15.6/17.4/19.2% for 12s
• While in Burst Mode, Anton’s Dodge Counter and Quick Assist deals a massive amount of electric damage, giving him incentive to use it often, hence, activating the attack buff from Starlight Engine.

Disc Drives + Stats

Option 1 – “Shock, Bro!“

4 Piece Thunder Metal

(2) Increases Electric DMG by 10%.

(4) As long as an enemy in combat is Shocked, the equipper’s ATK is increased by 28%.

2 Piece Swing Jazz

(2) Energy Regen increases by 20%.

Sub stats in order of priority:

As a huge fan of Anton, I’d recommend building him for maximum electric damage. This setup is perfect for unleashing his full potential and dealing the greatest amount of damage possible. His unique skill already amplifies the harm inflicted on stunned enemies by causing an extra shock. With a complete set of Thunder Metals, you can take this effect even further. However, keep in mind that this build heavily relies on landing critical hits to perform at its best. Make sure your Crit Rate and Crit Damage are well-balanced for optimal results.

Option 2 – “Power, Bro!”

4 Piece Hormone Punk

(2) Increases ATK by 10%.

When you engage in battle or come into play, your attack power gets a boost of 25% for a duration of 10 seconds. You can activate this ability every 20 seconds.

2 Piece Swing Jazz

(2) Energy Regen increases by 20%.

Main Stats: IV. Anomaly Prof or Crit Rate or Crit DMG | V. Electric Damage or Pen Ratio | VI. ATK

Sub stats in order of priority:

1.  Crit Rate or Crit DMG | 2. ATK% | 3. Pen (If using Pen Ratio) | 4. Anomaly Prof

A more effective team composition for this build includes Anton as a heavy rotation member. To maximize his burst mode basic attack, aim to switch to him when he has accumulated enough energy for about 10 seconds. Once he uses his attack, return to your previous character while Anton recovers energy to repeat the process. This cycling will result in a consistent boost to Anton’s attacking power.

Skill Priority

ALWAYS PRIOIRITZE CORE SKILL FIRST!!!

Based on my own gaming experience, I strongly recommend focusing on upgrading Anton’s Burst Mode and special attack alongside his basic attack. From my time spent playing this game, I’ve found that investing equal resources into all three aspects of a character’s abilities can lead to significant improvements in battle performance. This approach has proven especially effective for me when it comes to characters like Anton whose Burst Mode and special attacks can be game-changers. So trust me, fellow gamer, this strategy is worth the effort!

In Burst Mode, Anton’s fundamental attack and special attack both progress. It is recommended that you simultaneously upgrade his special attack.

Among the three abilities, Anton’s Ultimate deals a good amount of damage but is used less frequently than the other two, so it ranks third in priority.

During burst mode, Anton’s Dodge deals substantial Electric damage. Remember this and consider prioritizing its leveling up, but not before focusing on his fundamental and specialized abilities.

Five: The damage inflicted by Anton’s Aid is noteworthy, yet it ranks lower in importance compared to evading attacks on your to-do list.

Bangboo

S – Plugboo

If your team includes two or more characters with Electric Attribute, the Chain Attack of Bangboo causes a 100% increase in Anomaly Buildup.

His unique ability to attack enemies who are currently shocked is a valuable asset, but to maximize his potential, you’ll want to ensure that you can consistently apply the shock effect to your opponents. As someone who has spent countless hours strategizing and optimizing my team compositions, I can confidently say that pairing Anton with Plugboo is a winning combination that no Electric Anomaly player should overlook.

S – Safety

As a gamer, I can describe it like this: When I have two or more Belobog Heavy Industries characters in my team, their Bangboo Chain Attack deals 20% more damage. If the enemy is afflicted with Burning or Shocked status, the damage boost gets even bigger by an additional 20%.

When Anton frequently stuns or surprises the enemy with his abilities, this enhancement boosts Safety’s chain attack damage by 40% – making it particularly effective against boss mobs.

A – Electroboo

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I’ve come to appreciate the intricacies of game mechanics and the strategic depth they bring to the table. A weaker version of Plugboo, but will still greatly increase the rate of applying shock to enemies.

Anton may not be the most intelligent drill in the toolbox, but don’t discount his electric damage capabilities. When teamed up appropriately, he can unleash a significant amount of burst damage during his Burst Mode. Therefore, it is recommended to play him on a fast rotation and primarily use him when he has enough energy to activate his Burst Mode. This strategy becomes particularly effective when the enemy is shocked, as it triggers extra damage. If you’re planning to construct an electric mono team, Anton would be an excellent addition.
