Aniimo is a free-to-play role-playing game (RPG) where you explore a large open world and collect unique creatures called Aniimo. Developed by Pawprint Studio and published by Kingsglory (part of FunPlus), the game takes place on the continent of Idyll. If you’re new to Aniimo and want to learn how to catch the best creatures and unlock all the abilities, this guide is designed for you.
In this game, you’ll capture Aniimos – creatures that become your companions. Learning the basics early on will really help you progress. When you’re starting out, it’s best to explore each area thoroughly instead of trying to rush through everything.
How gameplay works in Aniimo
When you first start the game, it feels similar to Pokémon, but with a unique feature. You can combine with the creatures you collect, called Aniimo, and actually play as them using a system called Twine. Twine lets you merge your character with any Aniimo on your team.
Aniimos are vital helpers and tools for exploring the game world. Depending on the task – like reaching high branches, squeezing into tight spaces, or digging – you’ll need the right Aniimo. Having the correct Aniimo in your team makes exploration much easier, and the game even provides hints about which Aniimos are best for gliding, swimming, or climbing.
How Aniimo Combat works
Battles are fast-paced and action-oriented, requiring you to dodge attacks and strike while moving. As a human, you enhance and assist your Aniimo during combat. But when you use the Twine ability to become your Aniimo on the battlefield, you gain access to its unique skills and powerful ultimate moves. Currently, each Aniimo has one skill, one passive ability, and one ultimate.
As a big Aniimo fan, I’ve learned that team synergy is super important in battles! You really need to think about elemental matchups. For example, I found that using Water Aniimo against Fire Aniimo made a huge difference – it made the fights way easier. My biggest tip? Make sure your team has a variety of different elemental types – it’s a game changer!
Focus on exploration
If you’re just starting out, take your time and explore each area thoroughly instead of trying to complete everything quickly. You’ll find useful items, secret paths, and rare Aniimo if you venture off the beaten path. Catching a variety of Aniimo early on will teach you about their different strengths and weaknesses, and help you create a well-rounded team.
It’s always a good idea to scan or check out new Aniimo. This helps you learn about what they can do and adds them to your collection.
Aniimo is all about experimenting and finding your own unique approach. Don’t be afraid to try different teams and strategies to see what clicks! It’s perfectly normal to make mistakes at first – each battle is a learning opportunity to understand how things work and what your opponents will do.
Don’t hurry – savor the game and build your team gradually. By being patient and making thoughtful choices, you’ll develop a strong Aniimo team that can overcome any challenge.
