Despite lasting 12 seasons and 132 episodes, American Horror Story isn’t ending anytime soon. The popular horror series is set to return with a new installment in the near future.
I’m so excited for the next season of American Horror Story! While details are still pretty scarce after Delicate in 2023, I’ve heard we’ll be seeing some of our favorites back – Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, and even Evan Peters are confirmed to return, which is amazing!
Jessica Lange is back in the series after a long hiatus, making her first appearance since season eight, American Horror Story: Apocalypse, which aired in 2018.
Ryan Murphy Productions’ Instagram account recently posted the first photos of Jessica Lange on set, giving fans a sneak peek at the upcoming, yet-to-be-titled 13th season.
A recent post announced Season 13 of American Horror Story, excitedly revealing Jessica Lange’s return! The post included three photos of the actress, but she’s facing away from the camera in each one, giving fans just a glimpse of her new costume and look.

It looks like fans are getting what they wanted. Ryan Murphy hinted at a continuation of the Coven storyline by simply saying, “Done.” Coven was the third season of the show, and Apocalypse continued that story, along with the narratives from Murder House and Hotel.
Details about the upcoming 13th season are being closely guarded, but we know it will feature returning stars alongside new additions like Kathy Bates, Ariana Grande, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, and John Waters.
American Horror Story airs on FX in the US and Disney+ in the UK.
