How to complete the Totem of Rightful Rulership quest in Avowed
In the town of Dawnshore, pieces of the Totems will be subtly concealed. Sanza, at his store, will give you clues or riddles to help find them. At times, they may be visible, but other instances might leave you puzzled as you search for their hidden spots, asking yourself “Where on earth could this artifact be?” To prevent unnecessary searches, we’ll describe each location of the Totem of Rightful Leadership in detail within Avowed.
Golden Plaque of Oaths location
While exploring Dawnshore in search of the lost cartographer, you may stumble upon one of the totem pieces close to “Usher’s Hand”. You can either utilize the Eye of Rymrgand to freeze the nearby gate or choose to dive underwater to retrieve the Golden Plaque of Oaths Totem Fragment that lies beneath.
Totem Core location
If you chat with Sanza at his store in Hightown, he’ll offer clues about the remaining totem fragments using the Fragment of the Scales Quest Item. To locate the Scales of the Oathbinder totem piece, journey to the Shrine to Woedica positioned at the map’s upper-right corner. Ascend the grand staircase under an archway to discover the missing totem fragment.
Golden Plaque of Promises location
To get the Golden Plaque of Promises, head towards the lighthouse. Use the ladder on its left side to ascend and leap across wooden platforms as needed. Around halfway up, you’ll stumble upon a totem fragment hidden inside an opening within the lighthouse. If you continue climbing, you can snag Captain Henqua’s Spoils Treasure Map too!
Broken Crown Jewel location
As a devoted admirer, I’d be delighted to share that the captivating Broken Crown Jewel totem piece can be found nestled within the enchanting Sanza’s Emporium, right in the heart of Paradis Hightown. To find it, simply step into the room to the left of where Sanza stands, and there you will see it gracefully resting on a desk.
Golden Scale of Justice location
The elusive Talisman of Justice, the Golden Scale, is cleverly concealed, nestled beside a balcony close to Paradis’ Pharmacy. Among numerous balconies that you’ll encounter here, it’s essential to follow a particular path to discover the right one. Initially, ascend the wooden structures adjacent to the Pharmacy.
Head towards the area on the left, where a painting featuring an egg can be found. Approach the room nearby and either use Kai’s instruction or your own magical ability to eliminate the webbing.
Clear away the spectral apparitions within the room, and you’ll discover the Radiant Balance of Justice lying on the floor beside an overturned bookshelf.
Golden Flames location
As a gamer, I stumbled upon a clue that points to an island shrouded in infamy, known as Castol’s Folly. If you’ve been there before during the Precious Light side quest, you might recall it. To reach my desired spot, climb up and head towards the right side of the island. There, a trail of fire will guide your way.
Look to the cliffside to spot the Golden Flames near the edge.
Golden Scale of Order location
The final clue from the Fragment of the Scales item suggests that the Golden Scale of Order is hidden within the Dwarven halls. Since the Pargrunen subculture is made up of Mountain Dwarves, your destination should be the Pargrun Cache, located at the top-left corner of the Dawnshore map. Aim and shoot explosive barrels that are close to a stone wall using a bow for best results.
Step indoors and make your way along the path towards the fragment of the totem. Be mindful of tripwires on the floor to steer clear of dangerous traps. As you progress, you may encounter some adversaries, so eliminate them to roam the area unhindered. Once you reach the entryway obstructed by roots, look for barrels within and fire at them. Failing to do so could lead to an explosion when attempting to break through the wall from another angle.
Head to the building’s left side for the entrance to the new opening. Then, make your way up the wooden constructions before following the pathway all the way to where you’ll find the Golden Scale of Order perched on a platform.
How to use Totem of Rightful Rulership in Avowed
With all seven totem pieces in hand, it’s now time to establish your Party Camp. Make your way towards the Totem area and arrange the fragments accordingly. By doing so, you will finish the quest known as “Avowed’s Totem of Rightful Rulership” and receive six fresh buffs for your party that remain active.
