All Totem of Perseverance locations and buffs in Avowed
In the game ‘Avowed’, the Totem of Persistence is the last God Totem you can assemble. The seven fragments of this totem are hidden throughout the Galawain’s Tusks region, and your mission is to locate them. However, that task is not as simple as it sounds.
To discover the position of each part of the Totem of Resilience in ‘Avowed’, as well as the bonuses it provides, refer to the guide provided below.
All Totem of Perseverance locations in Avowed
In the captivating world of Avowed, I, as a dedicated fan, am on a quest to discover seven hidden totems scattered throughout Galawain’s Tusks. Upon entering this intriguing region, I can start my search for six of these totem pieces right away. However, the seventh one will require me to venture far and wide, exploring every nook and cranny to complete my collection.
To see the location of all seven Totem of Perseverance pieces, read below:
The Huntmaster’s Spoils Totem Base
Initially, you should locate The Huntmaster’s Spoils, also known as the Totem Base. This essential item is conveniently placed within Galawain’s Tusks. To get it back to your party camp, navigate towards the Shrine of Galawain, which lies centrally on the map. Once you find Twinedwoof, head slightly northeast from there. You’ll come across a mountain with an entrance leading to the Shrine of Galawain. Inside this shrine, you’ll discover The Huntmaster’s Spoils Totem Base resting on a mantle.
Antler of the Persevering Stag
As an enthusiast following the main narrative in Avowed, the next artifact I encountered was the Antler of the Resilient Stag. It’s surprisingly accessible, nestled right beneath the Bridge to the Garden, also known as the “Godless Tower” in your quest log. This significant location lies on the far eastern edge of Galawain’s Tusks. To reach it, I suggest you navigate under the bridge’s right side and leap down a few rocks, which will lead you straight to the Antler of the Resilient Stag.
Hunter’s Arrows of Slaying
The third artifact from the Totem of Perseverance collection can be found at the Slumbering Fields location, which lies on the west side of Galawain’s Tusks. To reach this area, you need to cross a bridge over a river of lava. Within the Slumbering Fields, look for an open chest containing the Hunter’s Arrows of Slaying. The chest is nestled against a wall made of leaves and surrounded by shattered vases. The fast travel beacon for Slumbering Fields is just to the north of this chest.
Wolf’s Pelt Trophy
The upcoming artifact is the Wolf’s Pelt Trophy, hidden within Galawain’s Tusks. To locate it, journey to the Ash Forest Outpost, one of the most remote spots on your map, found in the northwest corner beyond Solace Keep. Upon reaching the outpost, look for the trophy atop the tower. You can access the tower by scaling its stairs, and you’ll find the totem piece on the ground near a large hammer and some crates.
Hunter’s Arrows of Seeking
In the game Avowed, you won’t discover the Hunter’s Arrows of Seeking Totem of Perseverance until you’ve progressed through some parts of the story. This item is positioned atop Mt. Forja Summit, a location that can only be accessed during the main story questline. Once you reach the peak, you’ll interact with Inquisitor Lodwyn and the Steel Garrote. After this interaction concludes, search for the Hunter’s Arrows of Seeking in the southeastern part of the summit. They are sitting on top of a sack hidden away in a mountainous corner.
Hunter’s Arrows of Surviving
The second-to-last part of the Totem of Perseverance is known as the Hunter’s Arrows of Survival. These arrows are hidden in a hard-to-access section of the Missing Village, nestled in the far northeastern region on your map. To get there, you should travel straight from Solace Keep to this small settlement. It might be beneficial to bring Marius along for the journey (wink wink). Once you reach the village, navigate northward to find the Pargrun Cache before you can retrieve the totem piece.
To locate the Pargrun Cache, journey south from the Lost Village until you discover a cave inhabited by spiders. Within this cave, you will find a wall that can be destroyed from within. As you advance, you’ll eventually stumble upon the Pargrun Cache. Continue moving south and you’ll come across a tower to your right, directly beside the fast travel beacon on your map. Inside this tower, you’ll find the Hunter’s Arrows of Surviving resting on a desk.
Antler of the Pursued Stag
To obtain the last piece, the Antler of the Chased Stag – located just short of the Hunter’s Arrows of Endurance – simply retrace your steps towards the Pargrun Cache near the Vanished Village. Instead of heading south from the cache, opt for the northern route instead. Keep going north until you reach a small area above the Pargrun Cache; there, you’ll find another tower. Venture inside this tower to discover the Antler of the Chased Stag sitting on a table within.
As a gamer, I’ve finally filled up the Totem of Perseverance! Now, there’s just one more thing to do – pack up and head to the party camp to assemble it.
All Totem of Perseverance Buffs in Avowed
At your party campsite, position the Totem Base in the upper-right corner of the totem stone, followed by placing the remaining six pieces nearby. Doing so triggers the concluding cutscene for the totem in the game Avowed, where Galawain shares information about Sapadal.
Once the cinematic sequence ends, your journey with the Totem of Perseverance comes to an end. Here’s a rundown of the six bonuses you now possess due to completing the totem:
1. Buff 1: [Description of Buff 1]
2. Buff 2: [Description of Buff 2]
3. Buff 3: [Description of Buff 3]
4. Buff 4: [Description of Buff 4]
5. Buff 5: [Description of Buff 5]
6. Buff 6: [Description of Buff 6]

So long as the Totem of Perseverance remains active, it grants you a steady flow of the six buffs within Avowed. Now, you can cross off one less concern from your list in Galawain’s Tusks, making progress towards the end of the game that much closer.
