All factions in Soulframe and how they work

In Soulframe Preludes, you’ll find different factions to align with, and joining one is a great way to earn rewards as you play.

Factions, which were added in Preludes 9, give your character unique qualities. When you create a new character, you’ll choose one of three factions. This guide explains everything you need to know about how they function.

All factions in Soulframe

As of Preludes 12, there are three factions available for you to pick from.

  • Alca’s Children: You can obtain this faction by pledging to Spirit.
  • Kith of Kings: You can get this faction by pledging to Courage
  • Silent Rose: You can get this faction by pledging to Grace.

As you progress, you’ll discover a secret base for each faction. Once found, you can talk to the leader there to receive repeatable quests called Tales. Completing these quests earns you rewards, crafting materials, and increases your reputation with that faction. The quests themselves are randomly generated, offering a consistent source of useful items.

Improving your reputation with a faction unlocks more items in the Favors section. The better your standing, the more diverse the selection of goods you can buy from the Faction Leader.

How to change factions in Soulframe

You can only choose one faction to support at a time, but you’re free to change your choice whenever you like.

  • To switch your faction, you’ll need an applicable totem.
  • You can craft the totem using fragments, and they’re pretty easy to collect.
  • Once you have the token, equip it from the inventory. Then speak with a representative, and you’ll be able to switch.
