BBC Studios is creating an American adaptation of the British comedy Here We Go, which originally aired on the BBC. The show stars Alison Steadman, known for Gavin & Stacey, and features Katherine Parkinson (The IT Crowd), Jim Howick (Sex Education), and Tori Allen-Martin. It was created by and stars Tom Basden, who is also known for After Life and Plebs.
I’m totally hooked on this show! It’s filmed in Bedford and follows the Jessop family, who are… well, let’s just say they’re a bit of a mess. What’s really cool is it’s all seen through the eyes of their teenage son, Sam, like he’s just holding a camera and recording everything as it happens. It feels really real and shaky, which makes it even more captivating!
I’m already hooked on this new series! It’s about the Jessop family, and it looks like they deal with all sorts of crazy, relatable stuff – everything from figuring out new careers to, believe it or not, having their dog kidnapped. Sounds like a wild ride!

I was so thrilled to hear that Here We Go is coming back! Tom Basden, who created the show, said the Jessops feel like a second family to him, and he’s really excited about doing a special New Year’s episode and then starting on series four. As a fan, I’m absolutely buzzing – I can’t wait to see what hilarious chaos they get up to next!

I honestly think this is some of the funniest stuff the BBC has put out in ages! What really makes it work for me is how it plays with different generations – it’s just brilliant. Seriously, we need more shows like this!
I’ve been watching Here We Go, and honestly, it’s one of the funniest things the BBC has put out in ages! It’s a really clever show, and the family they focus on feels so real – I totally get their struggles and it makes the jokes even better.
This is one of the funniest shows I’ve seen on the BBC in a long time! It was enjoyable for everyone in my family, and we laughed a lot. The actors are great, and it was fun to see some well-known comedians make guest appearances. We’d love to see more episodes!
