The television host, aged 49, shared uncommon insights into her personal relationships following the public disclosure of her relationship with her younger boyfriend, David Putman, who is 26 years old, earlier in the year.

On Wednesday, Alison and Aidan featured in a sneak peek video for Romesh Ranganathan’s Parents’ Evening, a brand-new game show set to air on ITV1 this coming Saturday. In this program, audiences will catch glimpses of famous parent-child dynamics.

In the preview segment, they were posed some specific queries and required to choose who excelled in each subject. One of these questions was: “Which one is superior in offering guidance?

Initially taken aback, Alison later conceded that Aidan seemed particularly adept at providing relationship advice, remarking: “You certainly have a knack for relationship advice!

But she added: ‘But when it comes to career advice I’m not sure!’

In response to being queried about who amongst us might be inclined to share too much, Alison and I both pointed fingers at herself. With an acknowledging chuckle, she admitted, “Well, it’s true that I do tend to overshare. I guess you’ll see a fair amount of that during the show!

In June, Alison along with her younger partner David, attended a gala in London, where they were accompanied by her son, Aidan, marking their first appearance on the red carpet together.

It emerged in May that the presenter was dating the Russian masseur despite their 23-year age gap.

Following Alison’s initial disclosure about their relationship and her confirmation that Aidan had given his approval, something else occurred.

Discussing their conversation on the “Parenting Hell” podcast hosted by Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe, the comedians inquired about the television personality’s romantic status, asking, “Is Alison currently unattached?

Acting coy, Alison said: ‘No… I’m not single.. I’m dating. I’m dating.’

Alison was also asked about the complexities of dating now her son is almost an adult.

In a candid moment, Alison shared her challenges, stating, “As he grows, communication becomes harder because he wants to understand and even meet new people. He’s getting more inquisitive with age.

‘It’s a lot harder. He’ll wanna know that this guy is treating me well.

Currently, the individual I’m with is on Instagram, and he posted something along the lines of ‘yes, I like him, he’s not overly aggressive’. Aidan is also active there.

Alison is said to be ‘happier than ever’ with her new partner following a ‘turbulent love life’. 

In their initial encounter, she shared that David took an immediate liking to her son, finding him delightful. That’s heartening, indeed.

It’s a relief indeed! Typically, Aidan isn’t fond of anyone I date; he shows no interest whatsoever.

At that moment, it’s clear that if Aidan dislikes these choices, things won’t go as planned. Sometimes, I even question who is in charge!

‘It’s nice though because I always feel like there’s someone there looking over me, protecting me.’

Over the summer, David reportedly ignored his mother’s urgent entreaties for him to break up with his partner.

The television hostess has been in a relationship with a Russian masseuse ever since she scheduled a £150 massage for him, and they quickly found a connection.

However, it’s reported that he’s disregarding Mother Olga’s recommendation to end his relationship, as there’s an age difference and the celebrity status she’s given her son is a factor.

It’s reported that she has been urging her son daily to end his relationship with Alison, yet David is resolute in disregarding her suggestions.

Born in Krasnodar, Russia, David relocated to the United Kingdom in December 2022 to steer clear of conflict zones after President Vladimir Putin initiated an invasion of Ukraine.

Afterward, David relocated to the United Kingdom, currently residing with his uncle, Nigel Putman (aged 71), in Slough. However, he frequently travels to London due to work commitments.

The pal detailed that David managed to dodge conscription into the Russian military because his father, similarly named David, hails from Slough originally. Consequently, the young masseur was already a British citizen.

It appears that David’s dad, formerly a welder and auto body repairman, is said to have relocated to Russia in the latter part of the 1990s. This move was after he got married to the architect Olga Kovalenko, following a divorce from his previous spouse.
