In recent years, many Hollywood celebrities have been using weight loss drugs, and the recent premiere of ‘Euphoria’ suggests this trend, particularly the use of drugs like Ozempic, is continuing.

I was so excited for the season three premiere! It happened on Tuesday at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, and honestly, everyone was immediately talking about how amazing the cast looked. It was all over the internet!

I was so thrilled when the new series came out, and a lot of fans were too! But honestly, I’ve noticed some chatter from others who are a little worried that some of the actors seem… smaller than we remember. It’s a bit of a concern for some of us dedicated viewers.

I have to say, Alexa Demie really stood out to me on the red carpet – she looked completely different than I expected, and everyone was definitely noticing! It was a striking change, and she really captured everyone’s attention.

The 35-year-old actress known for her role as Maddy Perez on the show swapped her signature straight hair and dark makeup for a brighter, more natural appearance.

She looked incredibly glamorous at the event, wearing a stunning silver and black striped dress that showed off her shoulders.

Although people complimented her appearance, many online fans worried about her recent weight loss and how thin her face looked.

People on the red carpet were openly questioning whether others were using Ozempic for weight loss. One person simply asked, ‘Ozempic?’ while another expressed concern about the trend.

Someone commented that the drug Ozempic was ruining people’s appearances, while another simply wrote, ‘Wow, Ozempic!’

At the premiere, Maude Apatow, who plays Lexi Howard, Zendaya as Rue Bennett, and Hunter Schafer as Jules Vaughn, also debuted new looks.

Since the show first aired in 2019, the three stars have noticeably changed their looks. Zendaya now has much shorter hair, and Hunter Schafer has shifted from bright platinum blonde to a more natural blonde shade.

Meanwhile, Maude has also cut her hair into a short bob and dyed a darker hue. 

Many of the show’s actors have updated their style, with Zendaya, Alexa, Hunter, and Maude all sporting more trendy outfits.

Oh my god, I’m obsessed! I just saw pictures from the Euphoria premiere afterparty at the Chateau Marmont, and they were all there! Like, all of them, hanging out and chatting with each other. It looked absolutely amazing, and I’m seriously jealous I wasn’t there with them!

Vogue magazine posted pictures of the event online, and people quickly commented, accusing attendees of using the weight-loss drug Ozempic.

Comments under the post included observations like ‘They all look very thin’ and ‘Everyone is losing weight rapidly’.

‘Everybody be Ozempic-in hard,’ added another.

I’ve been seeing chatter online that Lily-Rose Depp and Maude Apatow are both using Ozempic. It started when photos surfaced of them together at an event, and people started speculating about their weight loss.

‘They gave them Ozempic to eat,’ someone commented, while another added: ‘Was the theme Ozempic?’ 

The increasing popularity of weight-loss drugs like GLP-1s is contributing to a concerning new beauty ideal among celebrities in Hollywood.

This medication was first created for people with type 2 diabetes, but it’s now being used by celebrities who want to lose weight.

Stars like Rebel Wilson, Serena Williams, and Oprah have all publicly shared that they’ve used weight-loss injections.

Medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro – semaglutides – can aid weight loss when used in combination with a healthy diet and regular exercise, and taken as directed by a doctor.

However, they have been known to be linked to some side effects, including vomiting and diarrhoea. 

Losing weight too quickly can have serious lasting effects, including weakened bones that break easily and potential tooth loss.
