Alex continues to prove she's the smartest person in Snowpiercer

As a devoted fan of Snowpiercer, I must say that Alex is undoubtedly the sharpest mind aboard the train, and her life experiences under Wilford’s rule have made her as cunning as a fox.

Initially encountering Alex when she was young and somewhat inexperienced, it became evident in no time that she stood out as the most intelligent individual in any given setting within Snowpiercer. To this day, her intelligence consistently demonstrates that she operates several moves ahead of others.

As a gamer, I don’t just believe what others tell me blindly. If someone spills a tale, I dive into my own investigation to uncover the truth. When Nima claimed Big Alice had escaped, I felt a spark of curiosity and decided to check it out for myself. I traced where manual uncoupling was located, only to find an engineer needed to step outside to perform the task. However, there were no protective suits available to shield from the cold, a detail that seemed worth noting.

It was clear what this implied: Ben must’ve been the one responsible. And indeed, Nima confessed to this fact, which also brought out some other confessions. Naturally, Alex felt compelled to look into it further.

Did Alex know that Layton and others may be trapped in the basement in Snowpiercer?

Nima was rather quiet about the residents from Big Alice, and Alex was curious to learn more about Layton and Josie. However, Alex didn’t receive any information from him. Later, when Alex discovered that a section of the silo had been sealed due to faulty experiments, it seemed plausible that Layton and/or Josie might have been confined below.

Without much delay, Alex quickly grasped the method to change the wristbands, enabling her entry to the basement. However, the challenge lies in Nima’s intelligence. He suspected Alex might have been up to something and swiftly verified if any changes were made to the wristbands.

As a gamer, I can’t help but ponder: wasn’t Alex aware of the potential risks before venturing down to the basement? After all, she didn’t just walk in there blindly, thinking everything would be fine, did she? She must have known Nima would eventually notice if she changed wristbands, or wonder about her sudden absence. Having spent time with Wilford, Alex should realize that people can’t always be trusted and they often plan ahead.

In the basement of the silo, she’s never truly by herself. She’s with Wilford, and together they can devise an escape plan whenever necessary, as portrayed in the series Snowpiercer.
