According to recent reports, Alchemy, a prominent Web3 developer, has officially taken over HeyMint, the innovative startup that’s been powering various web3 projects for industry giants like MasterCard and Ubisoft, among others.

As reported by a press release distributed to crypto news outlets, the company designing blockchain infrastructure is looking to speed up the creation of its smart wallet system by means of its recent purchase.

Through the integration of HeyMint and HeyMint Quest teams, the company aims to broaden its developer assistance, streamline integrations, and continue enhancing the development of its Smart Wallet initiatives. Alchemy envisions a future where Smart Wallets will serve as the standard method for introducing new users to the web3 sphere.

Based on information from the analytics platform BundleBear, it’s clear that Alchemy (ACH) leads the pack as the most popular smart wallet within the ERC-4337 ecosystem, with over 13 million smart wallets already deployed.

By merging HeyMint with Alchemy, Flor Ronsmans De Vry (co-founder and CTO of HeyMint) along with other HeyMint team members will now be part of the Alchemy family.

In the realm of cryptocurrency, De Vry has built a reputation as an accomplished web3 developer and founder of Fuse Robotics, a U.K.-based firm specializing in blockchain automation. As a co-founder of HeyMint, he is ready to leverage his SDK expertise and years of experience in scaling vital blockchain applications.

In his statement, De Vry mentioned that partnering with Alchemy would enable us to expand our vision even more, and offer secure, user-centric onboarding solutions to all developers and projects alike.

In a partnership with Mai Akiyoshi and Ben Yu, De Vry established a startup primarily focused on Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), named HeyMint. This platform, boasting over a million users, is renowned for offering numerous tools that don’t necessitate any coding skills. Over 40,000 creators have utilized these user-friendly tools, leading to approximately $38 million in combined NFT sales.

Beyond this, I’ve had the privilege of assisting our team in backing numerous web3 projects for prominent corporations such as Mastercard, Ubisoft, Universal Music Group, and The Sandbox, which has been a significant part of my professional journey.

According to Joe Lau, president and co-founder of Alchemy, the company anticipates welcoming the HeyMint team. He believes that this integration will boost and speed up the advancement and innovation of their smart wallet products.

Lau stated, “The approach taken by HeyMint towards crafting an inclusive and intuitive user experience resonates deeply with our goal at Alchemy to attract the upcoming wave of users and tech firms to web3. We’re thrilled to have HeyMint’s team joining ours.
