As a seasoned gamer who’s spent countless hours dissecting crime scenes and cross-examining suspects, I can’t help but feel a surge of nostalgia with Capcom’s release of the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection demo. The Nintendo DS titles have been a staple in my detective gaming library, and the prospect of diving back into the world of Miles Edgeworth is tantalizingly close.
Capcom has shared an advance preview, or demo, of the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, which is set to debut on Xbox One around early September.
The demo includes the opening chapters to both Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and sequel Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit, with the ability to transfer your save data into the full game.
In both games, you take on the role of the sharply-dressed lawyer Miles Edgeworth, navigating different cases, collecting hints and proof, and employing reasoning and analysis to untangle the mysteries.
In addition, both traditional games from the Nintendo DS lineup now offer a fresh Story Mode that guides you through solving puzzles, allowing you to immerse yourself in the storyline, and an Autoplay feature that smoothly advances dialogue at a pace you select.
