I’m so excited for A Quiet Place Part III! They’ve announced the cast, and it’s amazing – Cillian Murphy from Peaky Blinders is joining! Plus, John Krasinski is coming back to direct, which is fantastic news. It’s not out until July 30th, 2027, but I’m already counting down the days!
John Krasinski not only acted in the films A Quiet Place (2018) and A Quiet Place Part II (2021), but he also wrote and directed both of them.
Although A Quiet Place Part III is the third film made in the main story, it’s actually the fourth A Quiet Place movie overall. This is because A Quiet Place: Day One, a prequel with a different cast, was released in 2024.
John Krasinski announced on social media today which actors from the series will be back for the third movie, and also revealed some new faces joining the cast.
The director posted a photo of the movie scripts on Instagram and announced that Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe will all return for the next film.

Okay, so details about the next movie are still pretty secret, but basically, the films follow my family, the Abbotts, as we try to survive in a world overrun by these blind aliens. They can’t see, but their hearing is INSANE, so we have to be super quiet or they’ll hunt us down. It’s terrifying!
A Quiet Place Part III is slated for release on 30 July 2027.
