Joe Sugg and his pregnant partner, Dianne Buswell, amused fans this week by sharing funny optical illusion photos while they await the birth of their baby.
Joe and his partner, Dianne, who is known from the show Strictly, are expecting a baby very soon. They’ve been keeping busy and sharing amusing content on Instagram while they wait.
On Wednesday, Joe shared pictures on social media playfully suggesting he was pregnant. He positioned his head above Dianne’s baby bump to create the illusion that the bump was his.
We’re still waiting for the baby to arrive, so we’re keeping ourselves entertained by taking silly photos!
Last month Joe, 34, was forced to hit back after a fake baby announcement circulated online.
Okay, so there’s been a bit of a stir online! A photo popped up of Dianne that looked…well, a little strange, and honestly, it seemed fake – like it was created using AI. But from what I understand, she’s actually still very pregnant, despite the confusing image. It’s all a bit odd, but the main thing is she and the baby are doing well.
The couple is expecting a baby, and they shared the exciting news in September.
Joe shared a post on Instagram expressing concern that people who grew up with Facebook might be misled by artificial intelligence, and he indicated this while showing a fake image.
In the video, he explained that many family and friends reached out to congratulate him, jokingly asking why he’d shared the news with the internet before telling them personally.
‘This is AI. Look, that’s not me. I don’t know who that is, but it’s not me. I mean, I’d take it!’
Honestly, I always get a kick out of what he says! He was playfully admitting he wished he looked like someone else – saying he’d love to have their features, but quickly pointed out it just wasn’t him. He even specifically mentioned he doesn’t have that person’s chin or hair, which was a funny, self-deprecating thing to say.
‘That’s not Dianne. And that’s not our baby. Although, I do hope he’s that cute.’
Dianne then appeared on screen and added: ‘I am still very much pregnant.’
‘Yeah, he’s not here. It’s AI. Um, AI, it’s getting scary,’ Joe concluded.
I was so proud of Dianne! She really stood up for herself against some awful online trolls who were constantly criticizing her for showing her baby bump. It’s ridiculous that she even had to defend herself, but she did it with such strength and I admired her for it.
She’s been sharing her pregnancy journey online with humorous and relatable videos, but some viewers have criticized what she’s been wearing.
Throughout her pregnancy, the dancer has consistently worn outfits like crop tops, tied-up T-shirts, and sports bras, happily showing off her baby bump.
Dianne responded to online criticism this week by sharing a TikTok video of her baby bump. She highlighted one of the comments she received – ‘But why do you always have your belly out?’ – to address the negativity.
Dianne shared a video of herself dancing to KC and the Sunshine Band’s “That’s the Way (I Like It)”, with a caption playfully referencing the song’s title: “Because that’s the way I like it!”
Dianne received an outpouring of support from fans after she faced criticism about her body. Many people online said women shouldn’t feel pressured to hide themselves and condemned the outdated views being expressed.
Dianne finished her last day of work last week, excited to soon welcome her baby.
The couple has been preparing for their son’s arrival and sharing updates about the pregnancy with their fans.
