Ace Ventura producer who famously berated Lindsay Lohan on a movie set is dead at 90

James G. Robinson, the producer of the comedy film Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, has passed away at the age of 90, as reported by TMZ on Friday.

The experienced filmmaker also directed the sequel to Ace Ventura, titled ‘When Nature Calls,’ and was involved in a remake of the classic horror film, ‘The Exorcist’.

Robinson became well-known for a harsh confrontation with Lindsay Lohan in 2006 while they were working on the film Georgia Rule, starring Jane Fonda.

Lohan had been accused of holding up production when she called in sick after allegedly partying.

A leaked letter revealed Robinson harshly criticized her, calling her behavior rude, unreliable, and unsuitable for a professional setting.

The site reported that the producer had died ‘peacefully’ on February 15.
