Ferne McCann quickly regretted buying a Lamborghini because she felt too self-conscious driving it to collect her daughter from school.
The 35-year-old former TOWIE star admitted she spent £7,000 on something, but later decided it wasn’t for her and paid to have it removed. She described the pricey purchase as ‘ridiculous’.
Ferne shared the story of a spontaneous purchase during an appearance on the Spent podcast, which is supported by Nationwide. She discussed it with host Matt Edmondson.
The mother of two admitted she once bought a Lamborghini, but immediately regretted the purchase after driving it off the lot.
I immediately knew it was a mistake. It felt silly and I regretted it instantly. I felt awful and embarrassed, especially when I had to drive to school – just thinking about it makes me cringe.
Getting rid of it wasn’t free – it cost me around seven thousand dollars. But honestly, it was a huge weight off my shoulders. I felt like a major problem had finally been solved.
Ferne recently spent a lot of money on a serum reportedly used by Beyoncé, but she instantly wished she hadn’t.
She admitted to impulsively buying an £800 diamond serum from Beyoncé while relaxing in her bathrobe, and immediately regretted it after being persuaded by spa employees.
Recalling the exchange, she said: ‘She was like, ‘That will be like £890.’ … My jaw hit the floor.’
Avoid making purchases immediately after receiving treatment, as you might not be thinking clearly. I made that mistake myself and later regretted it.
Honestly, it was a bit of a trek back home, and I was still in my slippers and robe, clutching this bag. I just couldn’t bring myself to tell my mum what happened! I kept thinking, did I really look anything like Beyoncé? Probably not, but a girl can dream, right?
In 2022, shortly after getting engaged to Lorri Haines, Ferne was seen driving a £250,000 Lamborghini Urus.
Ferne also mentioned on the podcast that she purchased a Chi Machine, hoping it will help balance her energy levels. She intends to recommend it to her followers if she finds it effective.
A chi machine is a motorized device created in Japan to provide gentle, passive exercise. While you lie down, it gently rocks your ankles back and forth in a figure-eight pattern, giving you the benefits of aerobic activity without much effort.
This device is shaped and moves like a swimming fish to help improve blood flow, increase oxygen levels, and promote relaxation. It can also ease muscle pain, tightness, and stress.
She recently bought a Chi Machine after seeing it advertised by an influencer on Instagram. She admitted she was initially curious about what it was.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m a huge believer in the power of energy. I’ve found that simply lying down and letting your feet move naturally can really help unlock and circulate it. We all are energy, you know? And the amazing thing is, we have the capacity to manage and direct that energy within ourselves – it’s something I’m incredibly passionate about.
If the Chi Machine doesn’t work, it won’t be advertised. However, if people find it genuinely energizing, you’ll likely see ads for it.
