Become a Wanderer and dive into PvE and PvP battles

I’m a big fan of action RPGs that reward skillful play, and Hellguard looks like it delivers just that. Taking inspiration from games like Dark Souls, Diablo, and The Witcher, it’s set in a dark, medieval Europe threatened by demons and terrifying creatures from folklore.

You’ll take on the role of a Wanderer, a member of the HellGuard, an ancient order capable of withstanding the Darkness. The game features 12 unique playable characters, each with their own special abilities, progression paths, and detailed backstories. You can use these characters to battle waves of monsters and challenging bosses in the PvE mode, or compete against other players in PvP.

You can experience unpredictable combat scenarios while exploring dynamic procedural dungeons

The game doesn’t have a traditional, unchanging open world, and I think that’s a good thing. Instead, it offers constantly changing experiences. Locations are created on the fly, dungeons rearrange themselves, enemies appear in different spots, and the weather and time of day are always shifting, so each playthrough feels unique. Even during battles, you’ll encounter unexpected situations.

I’m really excited about the cooperative dungeon adventures and large-scale player-versus-player raids, even though the big battles and arena fights look great too. The game seems very promising overall, with beautiful graphics, well-developed characters, a good system for improving your hero, lots of equipment, and plenty to do after you finish the main story.

Hellguard is now available on Android in countries like the UK, Belgium, and Ukraine through an open beta! If you’re in one of these regions, you can download it now from the Google Play Store. Everyone else can pre-register to be notified when it’s available in their region.
