Ubisoft has now officially launched Rainbow Six Mobile. The Rainbow Six series is popular worldwide thanks to its engaging stories and gameplay. In the game, Renown is a key currency used to unlock operators and items in the shop. This guide will show you all the ways to earn Renown so you can buy the operators and skins you want.

Okay, so the game launched with 27 different Operators, but you only get 6 right off the bat. Honestly, unlocking each one takes a grind – you need 20,000 Renown per Operator! It’s not easy, trust me. I’m putting together a guide to show you the fastest way to unlock them all. All Currencies in Rainbow Six Mobile

Rainbow Six Mobile features several in-game currencies, including Bullets, Renown, and Platinum (which you can purchase). Renown and Platinum are particularly important because they’re used to unlock operators and customize them with skins. While you can earn these currencies through gameplay, each activity only rewards a limited amount.

The game uses a currency called ‘Bullets’ for its gacha system, which lets you get character skins and weapon customizations. Currently, these gacha packs use two types of Bullets: silver and gold. Silver Bullets are earned for free, while gold Bullets are the premium currency that you can purchase.

How to obtain currencies in Rainbow Six Mobile

1. Completing the Beginners Guide Quests

The game starts with a 7-day tutorial designed to help new players earn rewards, including an operator character. More importantly, it provides Renown, a currency used to buy rare skins and other items. Completing objectives will give you Operators and Renown each time, along with experience points, weapon sets, and skins.

You’ll work through a guided task from a list, and each day, a new part of the instructions will become available. This makes it easy to follow along and avoid getting stuck. Make sure you complete each step carefully – the tutorial ends when you’ve finished everything.

2. Clearing the battlepass by grinding game matches

Okay, so the battle pass in this game is awesome! They give you a ton of free stuff – skins, items, and, crucially, enough Renown to actually unlock new operators. The thing is, you only get a limited number of daily objectives you can complete to level up the pass. I always make sure to check what my mission is each day because it’s a real time-waster if you accidentally grind for the same thing twice!

You don’t earn a huge amount of experience or renown from daily matches, especially when you’re just starting out, which can make progression feel a bit grindy. However, every match you complete also rewards 100 renown, so you’ll consistently earn renown as you play and work towards Battle Pass missions.

3. Clearing the game events

When you begin playing R6M, you’ll receive many events, some of which are ongoing and others are temporary, so make sure to complete them all. Each update also brings new events that offer rewards like skins, and these are the best way to earn renown. You can easily get up to 6000 renown from rewards within these events.

4. Daily Logging rewards

Okay, so you’re probably wondering about daily rewards? Don’t worry, this game does have them! Every day when I open the game, and also through the shop, I get a little bonus. It’s not a huge amount of Renown, but it definitely helps me out. Plus, the rewards change every week, so I always check to see if there’s anything cool I need.

5. Clearing Operations

Each update to Rainbow Six Mobile will center around a specific theme, drawing on the story and details of the Rainbow Six world. When the game launches, the first update is called Operation Sand Wrath. To unlock it, you’ll need to play and level up until all game modes are unlocked – then a new tab for the operation will appear.

Operations are a distinct game mode with unique rules, challenges, and missions. Completing these operations as a team unlocks valuable rewards. Right now, tackling Operation missions is the second most effective way to earn renown – they’re challenging, but offer significant renown rewards.

6. Always check your in-game Mail

Don’t forget to check your in-game Mailbox! It’s an often-overlooked source of free rewards like Renown and Bullets. The developers regularly send out gifts to players as compensation for updates, to celebrate game milestones, or as a thank you for their patience during maintenance.
