The latest update to eFootball 2026 adds a new tactical option called Attack Trigger, a special skill designed to enhance gameplay. Along with this, KONAMI has released new player packs, including a rare legendary player card, and a special Internazionale Milano 25-26 pack. Players can also participate in a themed tournament within the game’s Events section. Here’s a breakdown of all the new content.
eFootball 2026: New Show Time skill and player packs explained
New Show Time Skill: Attack Trigger
This update introduces Attack Trigger, a new skill that boosts your team’s offense. When a player with this skill has possession, it raises the Attacking Awareness of all their teammates, helping them make better runs and passes.
Okay, gamers, get hyped! A brand new skill just dropped in eFootball – it’s called “Attack Trigger”! Three players now have this skill, and trust me, you’re going to want them on your team. Keep an eye out for them – they’re about to change the game! #eFootball

Okay, so KONAMI’s explanation of this skill was a little complicated, but let me break it down. Basically, when I’m controlling a player with this skill, my teammates suddenly start making much better runs! They get into smarter positions, they seem to know where I’m going to pass before I do, and they’re just more eager to attack. It really makes a difference!
Just so you know, the player using this skill won’t get any benefit from it – it only helps their teammates by improving their Attacking Awareness. We’ll have a better understanding of how this works once we get feedback from early testers.
Raphaël Varane Debuts as a Legend
We’re excited to announce a significant addition to the game: Raphaël Varane, one of the fastest defenders in football, is joining eFootball! He’ll be featured in his Real Madrid kit and comes equipped with two powerful defensive abilities, Aerial Fort and Long-Reach Tackle, which are currently among the best in the game.
He’s scheduled to arrive on February 23rd, 2026, along with two other players from the Spanish League Guardians: Rafa Marquez and van Bronckhorst.
New Packs arrive
A new in-game pack called ‘Show Time’ is being released. It features three players – Bruno Fernandes, Frenkie de Jong, and Reece James – each with a special ‘Show Time Attack Trigger’ ability, plus additional ‘Show Time’ skills.
Also, the Gabriel Batistuta Starter Set is now available in the game for 500 coins. However, it’s probably not worth buying – the version you can get in the Web Store is a much better deal.
Internazionale Milano 25-26 Pack and Tournament
With the release of Show Time, eFootball 2026 has also introduced the Internazionale Milano 25-26 Feb ’26 Pack. This pack includes eleven player cards representing the full team, as well as a special manager card.
This pack features current team players and includes manager Cristian Chivu. Chivu specializes in Quick Counter and Out Wide tactics, and receives boosts to both Speed and Stamina. He also utilizes Aggressive Centring A and a Link-up Playstyle.
Continuing with the current events, the Tournament is now live! You can join the Championship Club Event and play as Inter Milan.
