College Football 25 early access may start sooner than you think.

Just wanted to let you all know this article was first written back in 2024, but I’ve updated it now that College Football 2025 has really taken off and we’re seeing how awesome it is!

College Football 25, the game everyone’s been waiting for, will be out very soon! If you pre-ordered specific versions, you’ll be able to start playing even earlier with early access. Here are the exact dates for both the early access and full game releases.

When does College Football 25 Early Access begin?

I’m so hyped for College Football 25! EA’s website says we get early access on July 16th, but it’s a little confusing. When I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition on Xbox, it actually told me early access starts July 15th at 4 p.m. Eastern! A bunch of other people are saying the same thing. So, it looks like we might be able to play a day earlier than EA says, which is awesome!

Just a heads-up: this early access is for players who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition or the MVP Bundle. The standard version of the game will be available a few days after this. Plus, those pre-order options also include bonus packs for your Ultimate Team and some in-game credits.

When is the full release of CFB 25?

College Football 25 will be fully available on July 19th. Players who pre-ordered the Standard Edition, or buy it after release, can start playing on that date. Those with early access will be able to play starting July 15th at 4 p.m. Eastern Time.

As a huge college football fan, I’m excited about CFB 25! The good news is it’s coming to PlayStation and Xbox. But if you’re like me and prefer playing on PC, it looks like we’ll have to wait. The developers haven’t announced a PC release date yet, so we’re still hoping to hear something soon!
