March 2026 is shaping up to be a huge month for Clash of Clans players! Everything points to a major update that will introduce a new Hero, a helpful character called the Prospector, and a completely redesigned Gold Pass.

Plus, the Season Bank system seems to be receiving a major update. Here’s a summary of what’s been announced so far.

The New Hero: Dragon Duke

Rumors suggest we’re about to get a sixth hero! This one, called the Dragon Duke, is expected to be available at level 25 and will be known for being very tough and dealing a lot of damage. He also has a special passive ability called Royal Rampage.

This item seems to increase damage output when you have flying troops nearby, and it also speeds up attacks while reducing the damage you receive from traps. Because it’s currently available up to level 25, it’s likely intended for Town Hall 17 or later.

New Village Helper: The Prospector

One of the most exciting features revealed in the leaks is a new helper for your village. Players who are Town Hall 10 or higher and have the Gold Pass will reportedly unlock the Prospector once they reach 2400 Season Points.

Looking at the preview, the Prospector is located in the Helper Hut and simply converts ores into other materials each day for the duration of the season. The system seems easy to understand – there are no upgrades to buy, no gems required, and no secret perks. It looks like it operates on a regular schedule, processing ores approximately every 23 hours.

This is expected to arrive with the new season in March, which is indicated as “Cosmic Season”.

Gold Pass Changes

The Gold Pass has a completely new look! The user interface has been significantly updated, with a full-page layout, bigger reward icons, and improved clarity. The progress bar is cleaner, and the rewards are now better spaced for easier viewing.

The reward system has been significantly changed. Instead of receiving specific items at each level, you now have choices. For instance, if you need more gold, you can choose a Rune of Gold, or if you’re low on elixir, you can select a Rune of Elixir.

You also have choices when it comes to magical items – you can pick either a Book of Fighting or a Book of Spells. Similarly, you might be able to select from two different Hero appearances, or choose the special skin for the current season.

The Task Card system seems a little improved. It now includes tasks such as beginning building upgrades, conducting lab research, improving heroes or pets, donating troops, finishing star bonuses, winning fights, and taking out enemy Town Halls. We’ll need to check if the rewards for completing these tasks are the same as before.

Hoggy Bank Replaces the Season Bank

The old Season Bank is being updated to something called the Hoggy Bank. It still holds the bonus rewards you earn during the season, just like before. Now, though, you can easily see how full each resource bar is, and having the Gold Pass gives you a bonus multiplier.

Okay, so there’s this cool badge called the Hoggy Bank Multiplier, and it actually boosts how much you get at the end of the season. Right now, mine shows a 5x multiplier, which means I’ll get five times more stuff! It’s pretty visible, so you always know how much extra you’re earning.
