Season 2 of Ahsoka will feature three famous lightsabers used by powerful Jedi and Sith. These lightsabers come in different styles, including a double-bladed one and another with a unique, heavy handle. The new season of the Star Wars series on Disney+ continues the story of Ahsoka and Sabine Wren as they try to find a way back to the main galaxy after being stranded in Peridea by Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Now that Shin Hati, Baylan Skoll, Ahsoka, and Sabine Wren—all connected to the Force—are stranded in Peridea, we can expect more lightsaber battles. Season 2 will likely showcase familiar lightsabers as the story progresses and builds upon the action we saw in Season 1.
Every Major Lightsaber Confirmed To Appear in Ahsoka Season 2
Baylan Skoll’s Lightsaber

Baylan Skoll wields a lightsaber with a large, distinctive orange-red blade, first seen in Season 1 of Ahsoka and highlighted in promotional materials for Season 2. The blade’s unusual orange color comes from a rare Kyber crystal, hinting at Baylan’s past as a fallen Jedi. Season 2 is expected to reveal more about his motivations and connection to the powerful Mortis Gods.

Baylan, now played by Rory McCann after the passing of Ray Stevenson, is determined to discover the truth about the Mortis Gods. He’s ready to fight, and will likely use his orange-red lightsaber if he encounters trouble during his search in Peridea.
Ahsoka Tano’s White Lightsabers (But There’s a Catch)

Ahsoka Tano’s distinctive white lightsabers, first seen in live-action in Season 2 of The Mandalorian and then in Season 1 of Ahsoka, are predicted to reappear in the show’s second season on Disney+. She fights with these sabers using her unique Jar’Kai style, wielding one in each hand.
I was really caught up in Ahsoka’s fight with Morgan Elsbeth at the end of Season 1, and I noticed she lost one of her smaller sabers! That means, as far as we know, she’ll mostly be fighting with just her white lightsaber in Season 2 until she can get the other one fixed. I’m already wondering how that will affect her fighting style!

Concept art revealed at the Star Wars Celebration Japan event in April 2025 (originally shared on Reddit) shows Ahsoka using both of her lightsabers, suggesting she’ll repair her damaged second saber soon.
Sabine Wren’s Lightsaber

In Season 1 of Ahsoka, we see Sabine Wren become a Padawan. During her training with Ahsoka, she uses the green lightsaber previously wielded by Ezra Bridger in Star Wars Rebels. The color green is traditionally associated with Jedi who are developing their connection to the Force and striving for balance and inner peace.
I was so impressed with Sabine’s lightsaber! She didn’t just leave it standard – she really made it her own. She added this awesome Mandalorian-style guard to the hilt, which looked like it would offer way better hand protection. It was such a cool, personal touch!

Beyond the recent improvements, the device maintains its classic cylindrical shape, showing signs of wear from previous use by Ezra and Sabine.
Bonus: Huyang’s Lightsabers

Okay, so at Star Wars Celebration Japan they dropped a trailer that totally blew my mind! Apparently, Huyang – yes, the little droid – is going to have his own lightsaber and actually fight Shin Hati in Peridea. Even crazier, leaked concept art showed him splitting his arms into a bunch of blades, just like General Grievous did in Revenge of the Sith. I did not see that coming!
Since the droid can use different lightsabers, it’s unclear whether Huyang is currently wielding a different weapon or if he altered his original one back in Season 2.
