There are seven element types – Physical, Arts, Aether, Heat, Electricity, Cryo, and Nature – and building a strong team isn’t just about having high damage numbers. It’s more important to have a team that can adapt to different situations, create powerful reactions, and cover a wide range of enemy types.

Currently, the game features 23 playable characters. Players can deal damage using seven different elements – Physical, Arts, Aether, Heat, Electricity, Cryo, and Nature. These characters also fall into one of six classes: Caster, Defender, Guard, Supporter, Striker, and Vanguard. We’ll be exploring team compositions that best utilize these elements and classes to maximize effectiveness and utility.

Laevatain excels at quickly defeating groups of enemies (AOE) with Heat damage, making her a strong and relatively easy character to build a team around. To create an effective team for heated battles, consider this setup:
- Laevatain (DPS)
- Antal or Ember (Support DPS)
- Ardelia (Heal/Support)
- Wulfgard / Akekuri (Sub-DPS / SP battery)
How to build the S Tier Physical Hybrid Team in Arknights: Endfield
Currently, the most accessible and effective team composition focuses on using either Endmin or Pogranichnik as your primary damage dealer. There are also many good options to build a strong physical damage team that can easily handle any enemies or challenges you encounter. This team is reliable and will help you succeed in all types of content.
You will need to set the team as follows:
- Endministrator or Pogranichnik (Main DPS)
- Chen Qianyu or Lifeng (Vulnerability application)
- Ardelia (Healing and Debuffs)
- Pogranichnik or Lifeng (Physical buff or sub-DPS)
How to build a good Cryo Team in Arknights: Endfield
Okay, so honestly, playing against this team isn’t the most exciting – and it’s just my opinion, but Yvonne’s gameplay feels a little dull. But that’s not why I think they’re so strong! It’s more that they really lack good support characters, especially if you’re trying to build a solid Cryo team. It’s also tougher for free-to-play players to get going, though Snowshine is a total lifesaver – she’s really the only operator that makes it easy!

- Yvonne (Main DPS)
- Xaihi (Cryo Support and Heal)
- Last Rite (Support DPS)
- Ardelia or Snowshine (Heal / Universal Support)
How to build a good Electric Team in Arknights: Endfield
This team is currently the second strongest free-to-play option, but it’s limited by a lack of a powerful, high-level character to truly maximize its potential. However, this does allow lower-rarity characters to shine, as they aren’t overshadowed by stronger, more common choices.
You will need to set the team as follows:
- Avywenna (Electric DPS)
- Antal (Support / Amp)
- Perlica (Electric Inflictor)
- Arclight (SP Battery)
Final Thoughts
The most effective team compositions in Arknights: Endfield right now focus on the game’s newest characters. These characters are powerful, with abilities that can deal a lot of damage, but they often need specific, high-tier support characters to perform at their best.
