Jennifer Aniston posted a funny video on Instagram on Tuesday starring her friend Jason Bateman.
The actor from Ozark, age 57, unexpectedly visited her home in Los Angeles, needing assistance with his hair.
The Emmy-winning actress, 56, appeared surprised when he mentioned she was now working as a hairdresser, and asked where he’d heard that.
Bateman stood firm, explaining he’d found online that she was now styling hair using her own Lolavie line.
The actress from Friends looked puzzled, raising her eyebrows, but she still allowed the man to enter her home.
Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman first worked together in their twenties and have since appeared in several movies together, including The Break-Up (2006), The Switch (2010), the Horrible Bosses films (2011 & 2014), and Office Christmas Party (2016).
Once inside her big home, she put him in a chair in front of a mirror.
Bateman asked why she wasn’t protecting his clothes with a smock, seemingly questioning if she was even a trained hairdresser.
It quickly became clear to viewers that this was a comedic bit, as Jennifer Aniston appeared far more focused on her hair than on Jason Bateman. She flawlessly portrayed a somewhat clueless hairdresser.
Bateman did not seem amused.
Jim Curtis’s girlfriend struggled to squeeze hair balm out of the bottle, and this frustrated Bateman.
I noticed she really took a moment for herself before playfully touching his hair. She looked so comfortable and relaxed, dressed simply in a black t-shirt and jeans – totally her style.
At one point, he said his hairdo look like Conan O’Brien’s, which made Aniston laugh.
The stylist, a blonde woman, dried his hair, but it ended up looking quite messy. It also seemed like she accidentally burned his scalp during the process.
She told him the work was free, but she wasn’t actually putting in much effort to help him improve his appearance.
Finally, she told him she was finished, and he simply said ‘Thanks, Aunt Jen,’ then glanced at the camera with a look that clearly meant she hadn’t actually changed anything.
People on Instagram really enjoyed the video of her with Reese Witherspoon, her co-star on The Morning Show. Witherspoon even playfully commented, ‘I’d like to book an appointment, please!’
Kyle Richards reacted to a post with three laughing emojis, and Nina Dobrev, Olivia Munn, and Kaley Cuoco all liked it.
The video served to promote Aniston’s Lolavie hair care products.
This happened after Jennifer Aniston starred in a Dunkin’ Donuts commercial alongside her former co-star Ben Affleck, as well as Matt LeBlanc from Friends and Jason Alexander of Seinfeld.
