This Morning star Alison Hammond is reportedly facing her Channel 4 series Your Song being axed. Debuting earlier this year, the show takes on a similar format to The Piano (and shares production company Love Productions), as amateur singers are invited to perform a tune that means a lot to them.
Paloma Faith and Sam Ryder are secretly the judges, choosing the most talented performers to appear in a concert at the Hackney Empire, hosted by Hammond.
According to The Sun, the show Your Song might not return for a second season because of poor ratings, but no final decision has been made yet.
Digital Spy has reached out to Channel 4 for comment.
This report from The Sun follows the BBC’s decision to cancel Alison Hammond’s show, Big Weekend, earlier in the year. When the show was cancelled, a BBC spokesperson stated they were proud of the series and enjoyed working with Alison.
