Fit Check: 2026 FIFA World Cup Finals Performers

The FIFA World Cup has long been where global soccer and popular music meet. Music has always been important to football, but especially at international tournaments. The 2026 season took this connection even further with the introduction of the first-ever official halftime show and a spectacular closing ceremony.

From Justin Bieber’s all-SKYLRK outfit while singing “World Cup, Hallelujah” to Jennifer Hudson’s custom Thom Browne look for the US National Anthem, here’s a look at the best musician fashion moments from the 2026 FIFA World Cup Finals.

Justin Bieber

As a huge SKYLRK fan, I was so excited to see Justin Bieber rocking their gear at the World Cup! Seriously, after such a massive week for the brand – their first NYC pop-up and a new audio line – it was perfect. He wore a custom SKYLRK polo with their Raw Denim Shorts, and those unreleased Matter Daddy Sneakers in LATTE were amazing! Even his socks were SKYLRK – a slouchy white pair – and those JET Speed Demon sunglasses really completed the look. It was a full SKYLRK outfit, right down to his earpiece and guitar strap – Skyleezy really nailed it!

BTS

BTS made a stylish statement during their “Dynamite” performance, with each member sporting a red-toned outfit. RM wore a custom suit from LUEDER’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, inspired by the “Ghosts of My Life” line and coordinated by HARDSTYLE. Jung Kook paired a custom jacket by Courtney MC with Proper eyewear, Parnell Mooney pants, and silver accessories from DOSIS G6C. J-Hope’s outfit included pieces from Protocol Index, John Lawrence Sullivan, and REIMAGINE. Suga chose a windbreaker by Palace with VAIN leather pants. V (Tae-hyung) wore a vintage Dirk Bekkembergs leather jacket and JE CAI pants, while Jimin sported a jersey by Agro Studio with accessories from Eden Tan and JE CAI pants. Jin’s entire look was also designed by JE CAI. To complete their looks, each member wore a unique silk scarf created by Courtney MC.

Madonna

Madonna made a grand entrance as the first halftime performer, and she didn’t disappoint! She was accompanied by football stars Ronaldo and Ronaldinho and wore a stunning purple tracksuit designed by YSL, completely covered in sparkling Swarovski crystals. The jacket featured her name and the number 10 on the back, all brilliantly embellished with crystals. Her look included pieces from YSL’s Millenia collection, custom crystal earrings, and a vintage Diesel top underneath – a truly iconic outfit fit for a queen.

Post Malone

Post Malone brought a touch of country style to the Super Bowl’s Closing Ceremony, performing a mix of his popular songs like “Wow,” “Sunflower” (with Swae Lee), and “Chrome Heartbreaker.” He commanded the pre-game show while wearing a full denim outfit from Wrangler – a jacket and jeans, a unique cowboy hat, a snakeskin belt, and a T-shirt with a playful message inspired by the Elmo meme: “I just hope both teams have fun.”

Shakira

Shakira is practically an icon when it comes to the World Cup, and most fans expect to see her at the games – likely performing too! But she’s known for always surprising with her fashion choices. For this match, she embraced sparkle like many others, wearing a stunning custom Roberto Cavalli outfit covered in over 200,000 Swarovski crystals. It took artisans more than 120 hours to create the vibrant look, which featured two types of crystals in shades of pink, orange, and yellow. She finished the ensemble with gold sunglasses from Swarovski’s Hyperbola Collection.

Swae Lee

It’s always a great surprise when Swae Lee makes an appearance! He unexpectedly joined Post Malone on stage during a performance of “Sunflower,” sporting a unique outfit that included a custom Hashim jacket, an Alexander Digenova tank top, and adidas Y-3 sneakers.

Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson sang the US National Anthem before the game, and she looked stunning in a custom outfit by Thom Browne. Her ensemble featured a white jacket with navy detailing, a patriotic red, white, and blue armband, and a matching pencil skirt and corset. The jacket also had unique rope-style shoulders and satin lacing in the back.
