Edward Stourton, a well-known broadcaster for BBC Radio 4, has died at age 68. He had been battling prostate cancer since 2014 and passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Throughout his 40-year career, Stourton worked on several BBC current affairs programs including Today and Sunday. He later contributed to The World at One and The World This Weekend, and was one of the original creators of Channel 4 News.
