Collider praised the film as “bloody and brilliant,” highlighting the fantastic chemistry between the lead actors. The Atlantic noted that Green Room is full of unexpected twists and keeps a relentlessly fast pace.
In a review for The Observer, Mark Kermode highlighted the film’s successful blend of violence, dark themes, and humor. He particularly praised actor Stewart, noting he brings a powerful, almost Shakespearean quality to the performance.
