Over 1,000 fans came together in Palm Springs, California, to celebrate what would have been her 100th birthday. In a tribute to her famous role in The Seven Year Itch, everyone dressed in a white dress and a platinum blonde wig, recreating her iconic look.
A recent celebration in Palm Springs broke the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Marilyn Monroe. According to local newspaper The Desert Sun, 1,037 people participated, far exceeding the previous record of 254 set in Australia in 2020.
