The Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally giving one of its most beloved characters a new costume.
Production is underway in New York for season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again, and we’re getting our first glimpse of Wilson Bethel as Bullseye thanks to photos from Getty Images. This follows a recent post from Bethel on Instagram hinting at his new costume.

Set photos from the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again season 3 reveal Wilson Bethel, who plays Bullseye, sporting a costume much closer to the character’s comic book appearance. The photos show the Bullseye logo more clearly displayed on his armor, and capture Bethel preparing to film a scene, offering a detailed look at the suit from multiple angles.
At first, the actor who plays Bullseye wasn’t wearing his mask in the photos. However, a helmet was spotted nearby, suggesting he may wear it in future scenes or videos from the set.
Bullseye’s original costume in the first two seasons of Daredevil: Born Again wasn’t popular with fans, despite the character’s overall popularity in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Many felt the costume strayed too far from his classic comic book appearance.
As a huge Daredevil fan, I was thrilled to hear Wilson Bethel confirm back in May that we’re getting a more comic-book accurate Bullseye costume in season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again. He didn’t reveal much, but basically said he’s been pushing for a faithful adaptation of the suit, and that a new costume is definitely happening. He kept things pretty tight-lipped beyond that, which just makes the anticipation even better!
In the second season of the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, the character Bullseye began to move away from being a straightforward villain, building on his history from the Netflix series. The season ended with Bullseye working for Mr. Charles, and the two were last seen together on a plane.
The upcoming season promises to be the show’s most ambitious yet, bringing back the popular Defenders team. Krysten Ritter will return as Jessica Jones, alongside Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Finn Jones will reprise his role as Danny Rand.
The eighth episode of Daredevil: Born Again ended with Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock being arrested after publicly revealing his identity as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. With Murdock in prison, it looks like the other heroes known as the Defenders will take on the responsibility of protecting the city.
The first two seasons of Daredevil: Born Again are now available on Disney+, and Marvel Studios plans to release the third season in 2027.
