Lil Uzi Vert Previews Upcoming 2027 Vans Collection

Summary

  • Lil Uzi Vert has officially given fans a first look at his highly anticipated debut collection with Vans, which is slated to release in 2027
  • Leaning heavily into early aughts emo and pop-punk culture, the collection features a brand-new, unnamed bulky skate silhouette with a puffy cupsole design
  • The chunky sneaker has been previewed in pink-on-black and pink-on-white colorways, featuring checkerboard laces, a bulbous Vans logo on the heel, and a signature “LUV” tag on the lace panel

Lil Uzi Vert is known for doing things his own way, and his new shoe line with Vans is no different. Instead of a typical artist collaboration, he’s drawing inspiration from the skate culture of the early 2000s. The collection, coming out in 2027, will reflect Uzi’s signature style – think bold, emo, and pop-punk looks – which has been a big part of his image for years.

The highlight of the new collection is a completely new shoe design, inspired by the bold, oversized skate shoes of the past. Unlike Vans’ classic, streamlined styles, this shoe has a thick, cushioned sole and a rounded shape. It’s been previewed in eye-catching pink and black, and pink and white color combinations. Unique features include checkerboard laces, an oversized Vans logo on the heel, and a small “LUV” tag on the side. Experts have pointed out the shoe’s similarity to a vintage Vans model called the Weston.

Alongside the new puffy shoe, Lil Uzi Vert is also redesigning the classic Vans Slip-On. It keeps with the collection’s bright colors, sporting a pink and black checkered pattern. The insoles feature “by lil uzi vert,” and the usual Vans “Off The Wall” logos have been updated to match the shoe’s design.

Considering Uzi’s known passion for skateboarding fashion and the bold, trendy styles of the early 2000s, this collection’s padded look and retro vibe genuinely feel true to their personal style.
