G‑SHOCK and the iconic anime series Mobile Suit Gundam have joined forces to create a special edition watch based on the popular DW‑5600 design.

Okay, so G-SHOCK Korea hinted at this, and it’s awesome. This new watch is totally clear – the case and the strap! It’s mostly white and blue, and if you’re a Gundam fan like me, you’ll immediately recognize it’s a nod to the RX-78-2, Amuro Ray’s mobile suit. They didn’t just slap a logo on it though; the design is packed with details that really bring the Gundam universe to life. Even the clear strap has the Earth Federation Space Force logos all over it, and there’s this cool yellow detail that looks just like the technical diagrams from the show – like the Converter System. It’s seriously a must-have for any Gundam enthusiast!

Turning the watch over shows a special engraving of a winged horse, a tribute to the Pegasus-class ships – like the well-known White Base – that served as home to the anime’s main characters. When the display lights up, a custom LED reveals a glowing “SINCE 1979” – a nod to the year this influential anime first aired and revolutionized the world of giant robots.
