The creator of the hit series It’s A Sin brings you a new five-part drama set in Manchester. It premieres this Sunday, May 31st on Channel 4 and will also be available to stream on Channel 4’s platform.

The new series, Tip Toe, centers on Leo, a bar owner, and his neighbor, Clive, a father of two, as their relationship becomes strained. The show brings together the creative team behind Russell T Davies’ acclaimed series Queer as Folk and It’s A Sin to tell a story described in a press release as important for everyone, not just the LGBTQ+ community.

What will Tip Toe be about?

As previously noted, Tip Toe is a brand new, captivating LGBTQ+ drama series. It’s filmed in Manchester, specifically on Canal Street, a location that holds special significance for the show’s creator.

The five-part series, Tip Toe, centers around Leo and Clive, neighbors in Manchester. Leo owns a bar on Canal Street, while Clive is an electrician with two teenage sons. The story promises to explore the dramatic events that unfold in their lives.

Just when things should be calming down, the world around them is becoming increasingly strained. Harsh words fly, people become more extreme in their views, and slowly, ordinary neighbors turn into bitter enemies.
