Bad Bunny Hid His Next Two adidas Silhouettes Inside the BENITO ANTONIO x Zara Campaign

Summary

  • Within the campaign imagery for Bad Bunny’s 150-piece BENITO ANTONIO x Zara collection, models can be spotted wearing two unreleased Bad Bunny x adidas silhouettes: the Stone Slide and the Heritage High
  • The Stone Slide is a naturalistic take on adilette construction that marks Bad Bunny’s first move into a more casual footwear lane; the Heritage High is a boxing-inspired silhouette with a slimmer sole and taller profile than the BadBo 1.0, described as more fashion-forward
  • Neither silhouette has been officially announced by adidas, but both have been circulating in preview form — the Stone Slide was first shown in Puerto Rico last summer

Bad Bunny’s collaboration with Zara, the BENITO ANTONIO x Zara collection, launched on May 21st with 150 pieces. The campaign, shot in Puerto Rico by STILLZ and creatively directed by Janthony Oliveras, subtly included two new, unreleased Adidas shoe designs that weren’t meant to be revealed just yet. However, people spotted them.

The Stone Slide is a new shoe from adidas, similar in style to the adilette sandal, but with a more natural look. While spotted last summer in Puerto Rico, adidas hadn’t officially announced it until now. Its appearance in the recent BENITO ANTONIO campaign suggests a change in Bad Bunny’s approach to shoe design. Previously, his collaborations with adidas – like the Campus, Forum, and BadBo 1.0 (which sold out quickly after his Super Bowl performance) – focused on limited-edition, highly sought-after releases. The Stone Slide, however, is designed to be more everyday, comfortable, and widely available.

The Heritage High is less well-known, making it even more interesting. Its shape clearly connects to the color scheme of the “Rise” BadBo 1.0, but it’s built taller and slimmer. It features boxing-inspired design and a style similar to adidas Japan, aiming for a more fashionable look than previous Bad Bunny collaborations with adidas. Information is still scarce, and considering how carefully details about the Stone Slide were released, adidas seems to be intentionally controlling when and what information becomes public.

Stay tuned for more info.
