Ressence Welcomes Two New Color Variants for the TYPE 7 Watch

Summary

  • Ressence expands its TYPE 7 series with new colorways in Black and Cactus
  • Both models feature a 41mm titanium case and signature oil-filled dials
  • Retailing around $45,730 USD, the new watches will be available through the brand and its global retailers

Ressence has added two new colors – Black and Cactus – to its TYPE 7 watch collection, solidifying its position as the brand’s most adaptable and practical timepiece. First released in March 2025 to celebrate Ressence’s 15th anniversary, the TYPE 7 is built to perform equally well in city settings and on the water.

The new color options each have a unique look and feel, but all remain easy to read – a hallmark of the collection. The TYPE 7 Black showcases the brand’s signature oil-filled design to its fullest extent. The 2.95 ml oil chamber under the curved sapphire crystal creates a remarkably clear, almost digital display, making the bright white illuminated markers stand out sharply against the dark black backdrop.

The TYPE 7 Cactus features a deep, warm green color designed to look great with the titanium’s slightly yellow tint and pearly finish. Both watches also come with a matching rubber strap, so you can easily switch from the metal bracelet to a lighter, more sporty look.

The watch is powered by a special automatic movement. It includes the brand’s unique ROCS 7 technology and a new system that uses magnets to transfer energy from air to oil, providing a reliable power reserve of up to 36 hours.

The new TYPE 7 watch costs 36,000 Swiss francs (about $45,730 US dollars) and can be purchased from Ressence’s website and at select stores around the globe.
