For 16 years, the Corona Capital festival in Mexico City has consistently created unforgettable experiences. The festival has hosted incredible artists like Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, The Cure, and Nine Inch Nails, and the 2026 event promises to be just as amazing.
Event organizers revealed this week that the Strokes, Gorillaz, and Twenty One Pilots will headline this year’s event. With over 70 bands performing, there’s likely something for every rock fan.
Manic Street Preachers are returning to Latin America for the first time since their memorable performance in Havana, Cuba, back in 2001. Seeing them live is a real treat, and their appearance really highlights how fantastic this festival is.
Corona Capital festival announces lineup and dates for 2026 edition
Okay, so the Black Crowes are up for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2026, and honestly, they deserve to be in. They didn’t make it this year, but they’re definitely worthy. But let me tell you, if you ever get a chance to see them live, especially in Mexico City, DO IT. They’re one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen – seriously elite.
Corona Capital 2026 will be held November 20-22 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, a motorsport race track. The festival will be an open-air event held within the racetrack venue.
Billboard reports that organizers anticipate around 240,000 people will attend the event over three days, so it’s a good idea to plan for long lines for things like water and restrooms, and to take it easy.

Tickets for Citibanamex customers go on sale Tuesday, May 26th, and will be available to the general public on May 27th. Compared to similar major festivals, tickets are reasonably priced. Daily passes cost about $100, while three-day passes range from $160 to $300.
