Com2uS Holdings has revealed its new action RPG, ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD. Players can try it out now with an early preview available on Android and PC until May 27, 2026. The game builds upon the world of ARES: RISE OF GUARDIANS and is expected to launch fully in the latter half of 2026.

ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD is a sci-fi action RPG set in the year 3400. It’s a large-scale space adventure where you’ll defend the solar system by fighting in powerful combat suits. Players can instantly switch between two suits – the agile Valkyrie for aerial combat, and the powerful Goliath for ground-based battles.

I’m really excited about the different classes, particularly the Engineer, Warlord, Hunter, and Warlock. They all seem to offer distinct ways to fight, with cool weapons and abilities like powerful gauntlets and area-of-effect magic. I also like that the Suit Change system lets you combine these weapons and skills to create your own style.

The game appears to be quite enjoyable, especially the combat, which includes exciting aerial battles with Valkyries, fighting from atop a massive Goliath mount, and fast-paced chases on a hoverbike. If you get stuck, you can join forces with friends to tackle raids, Pilgrim Raids, and challenging boss fights. With its beautiful graphics and engaging cooperative gameplay, the game looks very promising overall.
