Official Look at AURALEE x New Balance 204L Collaboration

The AURALEE x New Balance 204L collaboration will be released in “White Lime” and “Dark Brown” colorways on May 29th. The shoes will retail for ¥26,400 JPY (approximately $166 USD) and will be available at New Balance retailers. The SKUs are U204L7YU and U204L5I7.

First looks are here at the AURALEE x New Balance 204L sneakers, which were first shown during Paris Fashion Week last summer. This new shoe from New Balance has a low-cut design that combines the sleek, narrow shape of running shoes from the 1970s with the detailed, technical look that was popular in the early 2000s.

This collection focuses on the popular trend of very thin, minimalist soles. It comes in two different material combinations. The “White Lime” version has a light grey and cream mesh base, with clean white leather details on top. Subtle hints of tan, cream, and pale yellow highlight the shoe’s curved shape.

Unlike other versions, the “Dark Brown” model removes the mesh material for a sleek, all-brown look and a rich texture. It’s made with layers of soft, chocolate-brown suede and nubuck, giving it a luxurious, matte finish. A dark sole and cream-colored lining complete the design.

Staying true to AURALEE’s minimalist style, the shoes feature very subtle branding. They have the classic New Balance “N” logo and “NB” emblems, along with the model number “204L” on the heel – but without any AURALEE logos on the outside. The collaboration is only marked with co-branded details inside the shoe, on the insoles.
