I’m so excited – they’re making a second season of Off Campus! We’re starting to get some clues about what will happen next. For those who don’t know, the show is based on Elle Kennedy’s books and it’s about Hannah Wells, played by Ella Bright, who’s a college student trying to make it as a musician. She ends up pretending to date Garrett Graham, the hockey team captain (Belmont Cameli), all to get the attention of her real crush, Justin Kohl (Joseh Heuston). I can’t wait to see what happens!
Like the popular hockey romance Heated Rivalry, Off Campus has quickly become a favorite with both readers and reviewers.
Even before the first season premiered on Prime Video on May 13th, a second season was confirmed. This sparked a lot of discussion among fans about what it might include, especially considering how much the first season had already diverged from the original story.
Similar to the first book in the Off Campus series, the first season of the show centered around the relationship between Hannah and Garrett. The second book, The Mistake, follows the romance between hockey player John Logan and freshman Grace Ivers. However, many viewers think the show’s second season will primarily focus on the developing relationship between Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes.
In the book series, Allie and Dean’s storyline happens in the third instalment, The Score.

Show creator Louisa Levy told Variety that all eight scripts for the second season are finished and they have a really exciting plan in place.
“I don’t want to say anything yet – but I think book fans will be very excited.”
While Levy didn’t reveal any details about the next season of the show, it’s been announced that India Fowler will play the character of Grace.
Ella Kennedy, the author and a producer on the show, explained to E! News that she doesn’t feel bound by the book when it comes to making changes for the second season. She prefers to stay flexible and not commit to specific details beforehand.
I wasn’t focused on any one particular detail needing to be included. My main concern was ensuring any changes we made fit the show’s overall atmosphere and feeling.
She added that the show really nailed the atmosphere and core elements of Briar U.
