Here’s the First Glimpse at the KPop Demon Hunters Toys from Mattel and Hasbro

As a big fan of the KPop Demon Hunters movie on Netflix, I’m really excited to see that toys are finally starting to appear! Netflix has partnered with toy giants like Mattel and Hasbro, and we got our first glimpses of the figures at trade shows earlier this year – 2026, that is. It sounds like they’re planning a huge range of merchandise to go along with the film’s success, which is awesome!

Netflix’s film KPop Demon Hunters, released in June 2025, quickly became a huge hit, reaching over 500 million views worldwide by the end of the year. Its success was unexpected, which meant the studio didn’t finalize licensing agreements with Mattel and Hasbro until the fall. As a result, they missed the opportunity to sell related merchandise – like toys, games, and collectibles – during the busy Christmas season. These products are now expected to be available in stores starting in 2026.

Mattel’s Toy Line Offerings

Mattel is starting with dolls and toys based on the characters from KPop Demon Hunters, especially the main three – Rumi, Zoey, and Mira. These include poseable dolls styled after the characters’ looks in the movie, and some designed to recreate specific scenes and musical moments. Mattel also plans to include the KPop Demon Hunters theme in existing toy lines like Polly Pocket, UNO, and Little People Collector, offering a wider variety of products.

The product line includes everything from 6-inch fashion dolls and action figures to larger dolls similar to American Girl. Prices depend on the doll’s size and what it can do. The more elaborate, larger dolls will likely cost over $150, while smaller figures and playsets will be less expensive. You could start preordering some Mattel products as early as late 2025, but they’ll be widely available in stores starting in spring 2026.

Hasbro’s new Nerf toys let kids pretend to join the world of HUNTR/X and battle demons alongside their favorite characters. Each toy is designed after the trio’s unique weapons: Zoey’s Spirit Blades are bright and fun, Rumi’s Four Tiger Sword has a shimmering blade perfect for a strong leader, and Mira’s Curved Moon Sword is a sleek and powerful weapon inspired by her role as the team’s dancer and choreographer.

Hasbro’s Planned Products

As part of the agreement, Hasbro is creating a variety of toys and games—not just action figures—including stuffed animals, interactive toys, board games, and dress-up items. One of the products will be a special edition called MONOPOLY Deal: KPop Demon Hunters, along with other themed games and merchandise.

This collection aims to offer a variety of ways to enjoy the story, including classic board games, digital experiences, and role-playing games all connected to the film’s world.

Retail Timing and Market Positioning

Most of the new products will be available in stores next spring and fall of 2026, but some are available to order now. Mattel and Hasbro leaders explain this approach is designed to keep merchandise connected to the movie’s success for a long time, instead of just being a one-time event.

Deals like this – where Netflix chooses two main companies to create toys based on one of its shows – aren’t typical. It shows Netflix wants to try new ways to turn its stories into products people can buy.
