This card is generating a lot of excitement, and for good reason. This young player has an incredibly well-rounded skillset. He’s tall, technically gifted, physically strong, a good passer, and smooth with the ball. He defends well too – he can do almost anything except score from long range at an elite level.
This card is generating a lot of buzz, and for good reason. While KONAMI designed him as a Left Back, he truly shines as a Central Midfielder. Although he doesn’t have a specific playstyle assigned, his overall skillset is such a good fit for the midfield that it’s not a significant drawback. Many are already comparing him to a smaller version of the legendary Gullit.
What really stands out is this midfielder’s height combined with their skill. Often, taller players can seem awkward, but this one doesn’t. The long reach tackle is a great bonus, especially in the center of the field where it’s really useful. Being able to intercept passes and make tackles from a distance is exactly what you want from a midfielder.

Ferdi is a really versatile and playful card. Calling him a ‘Leader’ might be a bit of a trick, as you likely won’t want him staying in that role permanently. He’s capable of playing effectively on either team and in a variety of positions, making him incredibly useful.
This player’s card looks great technically – they’re a skilled dribbler with quick movement, good stamina, and passing that allows for effective crosses. However, they aren’t really suited to playing a purely defensive fullback role. A well-rounded build seems like the best way to utilize their strengths.
This card’s biggest weaknesses are a lack of strength in the air and overall physical presence. You’ll really feel it when facing physically imposing wingers. However, it’s still a great versatile option to have on your team.

To be honest, this new De Ligt card feels like a minor improvement over his previous ‘Player of the Week’ versions, rather than a standout, special release. It doesn’t compare to his older cards from the early days of eFootball, when he was consistently one of the very best center backs in the game.
As a fan, I’ve noticed he doesn’t quite feel as powerful as the top cornerbacks in the game right now. His speed and tackling aren’t quite at that elite level. He’s still definitely a good card you can use, but he’s not really changing the game or dominating matches like some others are these days.
