Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Cruise 2027 Took Over LACMA

Jonathan Anderson’s first Cruise collection for Dior, presented at LACMA, was titled “Wilshire Boulevard” and drew inspiration from Christian Dior’s connection to Hollywood in the 1950s. The collection blended classic cinematic noir style with Anderson’s signature luxury. Highlights included shirts designed in collaboration with artist Ed Ruscha, playful feather headpieces by Philip Treacy inspired by Isabella Blow, and a reimagined Saddle bag with automotive details reflecting L.A.’s car culture. Anderson successfully combined high-fashion couture with more accessible pieces, like denim jeans embellished with silver chains. This collection was particularly well-received, as it struck a better balance between artistic vision and commercial appeal compared to his previous shows.
LVMH to Sell Marc Jacobs to WHP Global and G-III Apparel Group in $850 Million USD Deal

After much anticipation, LVMH has agreed to sell the Marc Jacobs brand to WHP Global for $850 million. The deal involves a partnership where WHP Global and G-III Apparel Group will share ownership equally. G-III will manage the day-to-day operations of the brand, including stores and wholesale, while WHP Global will handle licensing. Marc Jacobs will continue as the creative leader of the label. Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, acknowledged Jacobs’ significant contributions to the company. This sale is part of LVMH’s ongoing efforts to streamline its brand portfolio and is projected to be completed by October 2026.
Louis Vuitton Is Taking Its Cruise 2027 Show to The Frick Collection

Louis Vuitton will hold its Cruise 2027 fashion show on May 20th at The Frick Collection in Manhattan. This will be the first time the museum has used its original first-floor galleries for a fashion show. Along with the location announcement, Louis Vuitton pledged a three-year sponsorship to support the museum’s exhibitions and create a new research role for a curator. Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière chose the historic mansion to connect modern fashion with the museum’s famous art collection. This partnership comes after the Frick Collection completed a major renovation and reopened in 2025. The show follows similar recent events by Chanel in February and an upcoming Gucci show this weekend.
The LightSpray Cloudmonster Leads LOEWE x On’s Latest Sneaker Collaboration

Loewe and On have collaborated again, this time on a new footwear collection for Spring/Summer 2026 featuring three unique designs. The highlight is the LightSpray Cloudmonster – a modern, laceless shoe with a lightweight, seamless upper, and customizable neon-colored socks. They also released the Cloudtilt Hi, a high-top sneaker boasting stylish color combinations and On’s signature CloudTec® cushioning for comfort. Completing the collection is the Cloudsolo, a shoe with a breathable mesh upper and adjustable laces featuring the LOEWE logo. This collection blends On’s Swiss engineering with the creative vision of Loewe’s Jonathan Anderson, resulting in innovative performance footwear. The collection is now available worldwide through both brands, with prices up to $990.
Sundae School Opens Its First Permanent Store in NYC’s Chinatown

Sundae School, a clothing brand inspired by Korean American culture, recently opened its first store in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The 500-square-foot space, painted a soft peach color and filled with curtains, was designed to feel like a traditional Korean Buddhist temple. Architects Nohar Agadi and Andy Kim used metal pillars and long curtains to create a calm and peaceful shopping experience. The location is particularly meaningful, as it’s near where the brand’s founder, Dae Lim, first started the company eight years ago. Although the brand has connections to cannabis culture, this store will mainly focus on selling clothes and hosting community events.
A Ma Maniére Brings 23,000-Square-Foot Flagship to Atlanta’s Historic Old Fourth Ward

A Ma Maniére recently opened its biggest store yet – a 23,000-square-foot flagship location on Edgewood Avenue in Atlanta. It’s more than just a store; it’s designed as a complete experience, blending luxury shopping with upscale hospitality and dining. The building itself combines a beautifully restored historic exterior with modern design, paying tribute to the area’s Black history and its present-day growth. Inside, you’ll find unique ‘Living Suites’ honoring influential Black figures like James Baldwin and Nina Simone, offering guests a deep cultural immersion. The space also includes ‘The Galerie,’ a community hub, and ‘The Reserve,’ a unique and innovative dining experience. This new flagship represents a major change for A Ma Maniére, moving away from traditional stores towards creating complete, immersive environments.
