This research will specifically look at art and fashion from the French courts of Louis XV and Louis XVI, alongside the art of the Qianlong Emperor, and will also explore the Frick Collection’s often-overlooked collection of Asian porcelain. This long-term investment goes beyond simply creating promotional materials; it demonstrates a genuine commitment to what meaningful cultural collaboration can be.
The sponsorship feels like a natural fit with Louis Vuitton’s existing focus on art and architecture, and it’s a valuable partnership for the Frick, which is currently making big investments in its own development.
