Nike is releasing a special edition Air Force 1 Low inspired by the horror movie villain Ghostface from the Scream franchise. Even though Halloween is still a ways off, Nike is generating excitement for the 2026 season with this new shoe. It’s designed to capture the scary and self-aware feel of the movies, featuring materials that look slashed and other details inspired by the films.

To embody the terrifying spirit of Woodsboro’s killer, Nike redesigned the classic Air Force 1. They started with a white leather shoe and then heavily distressed it with black scratches and marks, creating a rough, battle-damaged look. The horror theme continues with the Nike Swoosh logos on the sides, which appear to have been violently slashed, mimicking Ghostface’s knife.

The shoe features a bold black sole that sharply contrasts with its worn-in upper. To add some visual interest to the otherwise single-color design, bright red accents are used on the laces, a small Nike Swoosh near the toe, and the heel logo.

What will really excite horror fans are the incredibly detailed movie references. The shoe’s tag replaces normal lettering with a bold, white “Nike” logo that perfectly copies the iconic, curved font from the original Scream title. And the coolest part? The lace locks are shaped like old-fashioned cordless phones, a clear callback to the frightening, trivia-filled phone calls that start every movie in the series.

Nike always releases special sneakers for Halloween, and this year’s “Ghostface” Air Force 1 Low is already getting a lot of attention. If you’re a horror fan or just want a cool pair of shoes for October, be sure to check the SNKRS app when fall arrives. And maybe don’t pick up the phone…
