The HIDDEN x Umbro football jersey was already eye-catching with its pixelated waterfall design and graphics in multiple languages. Now, Sashiko Gals, a collective of artisans from Northern Japan known for their traditional sashiko stitching, have put their own unique spin on the Fall/Winter 2025 collaboration.

HIDDEN and Umbro collaborated to create a collection of 18 classic sportswear items, which launched in September 2025. This included the featured jersey and cap. The Digi Falls jersey has a pixelated design and prominently displays the HIDDEN logo. It also features Umbro’s iconic logo and a football crest on the chest, giving it the look of an authentic team jersey.

In late 2025, the Sashiko Gals created a unique piece for HIDDEN NY, updating the design with bold, colorful patterns and intricate stitching. They used swirling stitches across the garment and a grid pattern on the back, while the collar and hand-stitched details give it a worn-in, comfortable feel.

The Sashiko Gals, a group that started in 2023, have quickly become popular for their unique, hand-stitched sneakers, even partnering with brands like New Balance. While this traditional Japanese stitching technique is trendy now, especially in street fashion, its origins date back to the 1600s. Originally used to mend clothes, Sashiko evolved over time into a beautiful art form passed down through families.

This special jersey and cap were made just for HIDDEN NY and aren’t planned to be sold to the general public right now.
