The JD x ASICS House Turned Movement and Music Into a Stylish Affair

Following a successful installation at Milan Design Week, ASICS and JD recently opened a unique pop-up shop in London’s Soho. The “JD x ASICS House” brought together wellness, music, and fashion, offering a space for locals to enjoy their typical weekend activities.

I was at this amazing event over three days! They had this really cool, chill lounge – all blue lights and shiny chrome – it was the perfect place to relax. And the coffee? Dead Good Coffee was there with a matcha bar serving drinks all day! But the best part was getting a first look at their new sneakers. We could try them on and even take our own polaroids to remember the moment. It was seriously awesome!

The event showcased ASICS’ GEL-NYC 2.0, a new shoe that combines classic ASICS designs with modern technology for a light and comfortable fit. The original GEL-NYC was also on display in its newest colors, along with the GEL-1130 and other popular shoes from the GEL line.

JD continued the pop-up’s focus on wellness with a series of workshops. The event kicked off with an opening night curated by Balamii and a DJ set by DJ Seinfeld. The next day featured style-focused activities like a tooth gem station and a workshop where attendees could customize ASICS sneakers with bows and dyed panels. Finally, The Rogue Room collective led a yoga session on Sunday, aligning with JD’s “Sound Mind. Sound Body” philosophy.
