While Monster Hunter Wilds had a strong start in February 2025, breaking sales records for Capcom, its performance has declined significantly since then.
The game has been a massive hit, selling over 11.4 million copies so far. However, recent sales figures show a slowdown, with only 132,000 copies sold in the last quarter of Capcom’s fiscal year, which ends in March.
Monster Hunter Wilds isn’t selling as well as its predecessor, Monster Hunter Rise. In the same timeframe, Rise sold 151,000 copies, and its expansion, Sunbreak, sold 142,000 – both numbers are higher than Wilds’ current sales.
