Cloud Nine and Goldenvoice are thrilled to announce Zipangu 2026, a first-of-its-kind one-day festival bringing Japanese music and culture to the United States. Taking place May 16th at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, the festival promises more than just a concert – it’s designed to be a fully immersive cultural experience.
Zipangu is a major event showcasing the exciting growth of Japanese music around the world, combining energetic concerts with delicious Japanese food. Headlined by the incredibly popular singer Ado, who will perform a special 60-minute show, the festival also features other leading Japanese artists like ATARASHII GAKKO!, CHANMINA, HANA, MAN WITH A MISSION, Yuki Chiba, and 10-FEET. What makes Zipangu unique is that all the artists will perform complete, full-length sets, highlighting a vibrant and innovative music scene.
Zipangu isn’t just about the music; it’s bringing the exciting energy of Japanese street culture to California. Organizers are building Rose Bowl Yokocho, a special area for food and drinks that aims to feel like the lively, small dining streets found in Tokyo. This space will feature a hand-picked selection of Japanese food and drinks, showcasing the country’s creativity. By combining elements of anime, manga, and fashion with a high-quality live event experience, Zipangu is creating a new way for people to experience Japanese culture and connect with its fans.
